Lovely chat… This goes to show the diversity of human beings. Like Ongezwa said, not all single mothers have the exact same story; and neither do all married women. I think part of the problem with the “single women/ mothers vs married women” narrative is because some people idolize marriage.
I'm also one of those single moms Ongezwa, my kids went to prestigious schools, went to UCT and Wits. They are respectful, kind, loving and responsible. It's a blessing!
It is truly a blessing congratulations we need to hear such stories to encourage other mothers out there

We have to change the pesperctive of how the society look or persive single mothers as raising mistake kids brought to this world .God is the only who give life .true, don't be boostful.and also in African societies they don't respect single mother's 'lets change with the new generation

The assumptions are wild. You can have a home with 2 parents but the mother is overworked and overwhelmed and thus can not impart love, attention, discipline and opportunities to the kids. The mother herself does not get the benefits of having a partner. A home with both parents is what God planned but isonosenza umonakalo.
The well rounded children come from a home where dad pours a lot of selfless love and attention onto the mother and the mother does the same to the kids.
They are hey and I believe it is necessary to hold conversation to dispel the myths because the is so much that haplenes behind the scenes
