Maybe not the greatest ride ever, but they clearly put a ton of time, effort and money into this and I appreciate what they managed to do. ^^
Likewise, I can always respect a labour of love and engineering.
Watching this makes you appreciate how much time, effort, and research Imagineering does to develops an attraction.
Haha exactly, this is like a master class on How not to do a dark-ride. I appreciate the effort, but you can't deny it fails almost everywhere and especially on the lighting..

For a distant lack of movement, I gotta to give it to the park, the dinosaurs are pretty.

You could see the wallpaper, the roof, and all of the "hidden" stuff
Im not 100% certain but i think it has to do with the filming. The rides are usually dark and in order for a high quality video to exist I believe everything, even the bad stuff, is lightened.

The Video was too bright. Normally it's much darker, but I understand that they had to up the exposure to see what's in the shadows. The lighting is actually pretty good and very moody. REMEMBER that this is an indoor amusement park in the United Arab Emirates. Indoor PARKS are good because of the HEAT. They can air condition the entire PARK (and also protect against sandstorms) in that region.
cool animatronics and set pieces but they have to blend it better with the track and show building, there is too big of a separation between them and it kills immersion. also some lighting adjustments would really benefit it. its got potential, just needs some reworks

Wished they toned down the lights a little, that would've made it a little better. Unless if this was filmed with low-light that is.

This is way more themed than DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom, which relies on darkness to hide the skimpy low budget themeing.
I don't know back when it was Countdown To Extinction, that was the real deal

UAE is a horrible place, I think the worst part is Dubai is supposed to be exclusive, a rich man's playground, while chattel slaves do all the work.

This ride is a mix of universal King Kong, Jurassic park, and dinosaur in Disney ‼️ but I still love it a love how it looks all together in one ride :)

This reminds of the extinct dark ride from Knott's Berry Farm, Kingdom of the Dinosaurs. I miss that ride.

Look at the kind of animatronics that are in this and ask yourself how that fight would look with only that kind of budget...
Universal can at least make a better more practical ride than this. Theve honestly been using less n less screens for their rides

@The Genius nope. They're two different parks. They look the same that's why.
@The Genius This is not a universal park. It is its own thing. However they do have a lot of characters licensed from Universal. Universal was planning on building their own Universal Studios Dubai but pulled out of the project, so we got this instead.

Conscience ly Oh I saw that! it literally just says “Raptor Cove” with a bunch of scratches. I genuinely thought they were going to add way more animatronics and make things different, so disappointing.

I think it’s funny that they have Rajasaurus be the big baddie of the attraction, but they beefed it up like Disney did with the Carnotaurus even though the two are pretty much related. The worse part is when they decided to have it fight the T.rex.
If I ever make my own dinosaur ride, I'm doing the classic T-rex vs Triceratops. Although, I've always wanted to do something where they team up against something else.

They saw Dinosaur and Jurassic Park at Disney and Universal but simply didn't have the budget to make it. This litterally the EXACT same plot as animal kingdom. It's just the same ride with none of the quality

Not bad for a bootleg of animal kingdom's ride though the slow speed makes yelling "go go!" A bit silly. The screens were kinda hokey but at least the ride will be here after the ak one is gone

All this complaining. I for one look at this and am excited these foreign parks are attempting to be as entertaining m. Though Disney is the standard, they are not the same park or have the same bank account. Sooooo, just enjoy it for the potential. They did their best.....

Sucks you can see the ceiling. Should've lit the whole thing with headlights, that was a neat effect.

I mean I want to call this a rip-off off the Disney attraction, but it's kind of impressive. It's a lot less scary and intense, and the animatronics were pretty well done!

The thumbnail told me right away that this was going to be a ripoff of Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom, but it also kind of rips off Spider-Man at Islands of Adventure as well.
I don't know what is that horned dinosaur, but i'm pretty sure they intentionally made it fictional, if they did, then I will still be clueless of what the horned dinosaur actually is.
EDIT: The giant dinosaur in this ride is actually a Rajasaurus, but it is portrayed quite inaccurately. Rajasaurus did not had a horn, it had a Sagittal Crest (I think it is), so this means that the dinosaur is exaggerated to have a reversed horn.
It's a oversized rajasaurus.
@@luqmanhakim009 You are right! Rajasaurus was about 30 feet long and 10 feet tall, and it can't be larger than a Tyrannosaurus

We use to have one in Blackpool tower called the dinosaur ride or dawn of time think it's on RUclips as a child it was great when I worked there half the dinosaurs where not working very well.

Is it just me, or is this ride a rip-off of Dinosaur in Disney’s Animal Kingdom? The plot is similar, the ride vehicles are similar, and even some of the dinosaurs are the same.

Screens?... I don't get it, I mean, it is very expensive I guess but still lack in details as the paint in the walls and the ceiling, it is not a complete experience if you see trees painted in the wall and very fake Dinos in the screen... also illumination is so evident.. these are literally spotlights or light bulbs...

Yeah I think some of the rides in the park while well themed, they are still nowhere near the budget that Disney or Universal has for their attractions. This ride is basically trying to be a knock-off of the Dinosaur ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom, which opened 20 years ago.

@@honureef6185 Jurassic Park the ride is currently closed, undergoing a refurbishment/retheme to become Jurassic WORLD the ride and will open June 2019.
Oh ok I will miss the original but I hope the new one will be better😁
