Wishing Novak a speedy recovery! to be clear about the wording I used at the 1:21 mark, was strictly referring to Sinner becoming a world #1 as a deserved and exciting moment for him- the circumstances around him becoming it are strictly very unfortunate with the Novak injury obviously. Very much hoping Novak is healthy soon + able to compete for another Slam at Wimbledon - and The Olympics after that!

If this were the Olympics with Best of 3 sets, Djokovic would have lost, he is way more vulnerable over 3x sets.
Over 5, he's a beast and has so much experience that helps him over the line so much.
Even if fit, I don't see Djokovic winning Gold but I could be wrong and time will tell.

Hello Anthonyyyyy! That’s so very sad for Nole. I hope it’s not too serious and he can return this summer for the Olympics as I know that’s very important to him.

@@AnthonysTennisHub Anthonyyyy you know I will forever be a Roger fan. I never want to see anyone be forced to retire from a knee injury ever again. That was the absolute worst. Roger unfortunately just disappeared from the sport. Tennis is better with Nole and I want to see him retire on his own terms like Rafa.

Hey Anthony, it's interesting that we were just discussing how some people doubted Novak's medical timeout during the Cerundolo match and thought it might have been a tactical move. I had the same thought initially, especially since it seemed to happen several times during this tournament and in the past. Whether tactical or not, it's unfortunate that players seem to fall into it. However, my perception changed during his last 5-setters of the tournament. I also mentioned that I only see Novak until the quarterfinals, but I didn't expect that he'd withdraw due to injury. Wishing Novak a speedy recovery, congrats to Sinner for his no 1 ranking, and good luck to Casper.
