This song was written for my wife and I. I met the most beautiful and amazing woman 40 years ago at the lowest point of my life. I was broken. She introduced me to Jesus. That was a life changer. God has blessed us abundantly as He made her my wife!!!!!!
We are now closer and deeper in love than ever. We so enjoy listening to the 70s & 80s music, especially this song, when we go out crusing in the exotic speed machine I recently bought, simply because I like her.

When I first heard this song as a black man, just grocery shopping in a supermarket. I stopped in my tracks and listened to this wonderful music they were playing.
I was truly impressed with the sound, the music and the lyrics.

That is a profound line in the lyrics. It's sort of an anchor for all the other lines.

This is definitely one of the best music videos I’ve ever seen. I saw it once, then searched and watch it again, and I did again! The artist, the accompanying music, the dancers and location - they all blended together to present a really classy touch. There is not enough words to describe the magnificent performance of Bryan Adams.
