I had a chance to play on that Discs of TRON. Its a blast to play, I took top score on the leaderboards first try :) My friend Mark couldn't believe how quickly I went through the levels. :)
This couldn't have come at a better time for me. I just picked up a Centipede cabaret last week that needs some work, and it's about the same shape as your Pac-Man. So i'll be watching for sure. Cheers!
Ha! :) I already converted it to Gradius! Gradius was a game I traded some time ago and I have missed it. So, I was happy to get it back. And, yeah, I already had Goonies.
i was just thinking today while playing some puckman that you dont have a pac man in the basement! but you can squeeze another game in somewhere. soon you will be moving the dryer and washing machine out! thanks for doing more restore vids they are great
Oh Pac-man - will be fun to check this restoration project out! By the way, your 'how to burn eproms'-videos inspired me into ordering a eprom-programmer and eproms, so I can update the firmware in some of my 80's synthesizers, so thanks for that!
I'm working on one of these myself. Keep doing these videos man, before you started on the Gyruss one I was scared to try doing the metalwork, i'd just concentrated on the electronics, now I want all my machines to look really good as well as play 100%. Longer videos rock in my opinion.
Really Enjoying these video's, keep up the great work, i know i will be referencing these video's when i tackle my first cab restore. ( first i need to move to a house with space) lol
Cause RUclips muted my video because of the Star Wars Soundtrack during the gameplay sequence. So, I edited the video removing the music they didn't like.
That Tron Pinball was sweet! Your ban is pretty good too, just listened to Loopers. I am myself a punk rock/hardcore drummer. I used to play in the swedish skate punk band Bowser :D What instrument do you play? Love your vids!
alright i'm going to teach you and walt a trick for that star wars game. notice there are two buttons on the joystick. tap the trigger with your index finger on the front, then tap the top button with your thumb, then bounce your hand back and forth between those two buttons. get into a rhythm with that movement and you will shoot like a machine gun. i can beat the entire game on one quarter using this technique.
Sorry for the late comment, but never saw these clips, since I saw your earlier videos I was shocked at the shape the pacman was in! You did a fantastic job on it. Again I just love your videos, I get to live the dream through your videos. I don't own a single game due to cash restraints, my dream games are pretty simple. Would love a normal upright Ms PacMan, & Galaga. Pinballs are my favorite, my top 3 : Funhouse, Circus Voltaire, Haunted House.
Atari made the complete game, but was never released, someone recently made a reproduction cabinet of the game that's a very accurate recreation of the one in the film but that's all I've really heard about.
Hey John , Love your Vids.. Yes Please keep them comin, I;m learning through you.. PS I have a Ms. Pacman.....for over 22yrs. Seems like i,m losing the lines. Do you think i need a new cap kit ?/
Haha, yeah, it might be the wrong band, it's always kinda confusing when more than one band have the same name. You should link your your band in the description.
Hi John. Big fan of your youtube channel. I've already watched a few dozen of your restoration videos and they're very informative and helpful. I'm interested in building a cabinet that's roughly similar to your Pac-Man cabaret cabinet. Is it possible for you to give me the rough dimensions? They don't have to be exact, as it's not going to be a copy, just close enough to get me in the ballpark. Thanks and keep the videos coming!
Sorry about that monitor. I was carrying my 27" NFS carbon monitor and pushed it against my stomach wrong and, hissssssssss, It was painful. Still is since it has an LCD now :\
Has anyone ever said you kind of sound like Patton Oswalt? Anyway, new sub because of "Arcade Impossible" Holla if you're hear because of "Arcade Impossible!" ... *crickets*
I love Pac-Man. It’s one of my favorite classic arcade games.
I would like to have one in my basement.

At 1:46, I could see the cigar before the video in Boston when he’s about to be on the E-Z Pass.
I actually have no idea how he could do that.

Yamaha DX7 was my first synthesizer. :) Finally got my programmer, burned my first eprom and it was a success - great feeling. :)
Nice, I get a little electro feel from the samplings. :)
Walt seems like a cool dude.
Yeah, Walt is a cool dude for sure!
Agreed.

I now have Pac Man in my basement as my birthday present.
Anthony the App Guy you should post a video
I don’t do videos of arcade games, I only do app reviews.
@@anthonytheappguy4426ah yeah, if you had posted one arcade machine video, the world would've ended.
That’s what I mean. You can tell by the name of my channel because I only do app reviews on my channel, not arcade reviews.
John, i found An arcade game called "Superman", From 1988, Tiato. I Scored like 320,800 Points in that game got me 3rd place on the highscores table.
That's great, man! I'd love to get some old synths. I am rocking a Microkorg and some soft synths in Pro Tools. Want to get a Yamaha DX-7
Really Enjoying these video's, keep up the great work, i know i will be referencing these video's when i tackle my first cab restore. ( first i need to move to a house with space) lol

Oh, I'll document everything, don't worry! :)
CT warehouse had that woodgrain. Vintage and you could probably get it cheap.
Did you try adjusting the monitor first? Turn up the "screen" on the flyback.

You like cigars too?!!! Your stock just went up :)
Skip to 1:46. He had a cigar in his hand as he’s going through the E-Z Pass, right?
Did I just see a perfect looking Zoo Keeper? Jealousy reigns.
This is a cool video but at the same time its very interesting and aslo I love me some PAC man
Walt's got Pac-Men coming out of his ears. Did I see three cabs there including the one you picked up?
Soon, maybe this weekend!
I live near Massachussitts. I live in CT.
Bummer! Shouldn't be too hard to convert back assuming the cabinet isn't destroyed.
Yeah, he had three of them, just in his garage.
Sorry for the late comment, but never saw these clips, since I saw your earlier videos I was shocked at the shape the pacman was in! You did a fantastic job on it. Yeah, I like them maybe too much. :D
yes, I remember! Your last sentence was gibberish.
The Star Wars Arcade Trilogy I think is running on Lindbergh or NAOMI GD-ROM hardware.
Judging from the aliasing in the game, imma say that it's running on NAOMI hardware.
The Tron Game on the Tron Pinball Game! IT'S LIKE TRONGAMECEPTION
AWESOME
I added a link in the description. :)
Haha, yeah, it might be the wrong band, it's always kinda confusing when more than one band have the same name.
You should link your your band in the description.

And a pinball review
Hey, if you ever get bored of the vs. tennis, why not install 2 vs. games in that, like goonies on one side and something else on the other.
Ok, and Yankees are my fav too! Did you check out Arcade Perfection, my new channel?
Is there a The Last Starfighte arcade cab?
I saw your promo vid. Good job and good luck!
Do you have the camera on your head when you are driving or something?
(1:46) He brought a cigar as he’s driving?!
And well, you can do the math XD
How do you find parts for these, I'd assume that they have ICs in them that haven't been made in over 30+ years.
how many parts are there going to be
jesus i want a candy cab! are they pretty expensive?
I don't have one, bro!
why not fill the corner in with bondo or something?
Sorry about that monitor. I was carrying my 27" NFS carbon monitor and pushed it against my stomach wrong and, hissssssssss, It was painful. Still is since it has an LCD now :\
