2023 i still use my GT here in Arizona ...Woot!!
I have the elite, but after watching this I see they are much the same, thank's for the video you have explained a couple of things for me.

Excellent tutorial. The only thing I would have touched on a bit more is the reason for wanting to monitor the threshold when using the GT.
Because then you are at the deepest detection capability, too quiet and you loose depth ,too loud and uncomfortable detecting!

Just picked up a sovereign gt that you would swear was brand new! I'm stoked! Thanks for your info. Very helpful for this machine. I'm told it is excellent on the beach? Can it also be used in parks etc? Cheers, just subbed you.
I use same setting but i put my sensitivity on auto seems to work very well for me

Mine just has a loud noise, doesn't seem to be ajustable
