I think there should be a prize for the few kids who fully learn their routine & who don't take promptings from their mothers re how to "Steal The show".Thats a big, year long effort by parents & the other kids, not to mention a huge expense by the end. Teachers also work hard to put on a nice performance. If parents want their little "special one" to have her own show by disrespecting everyone else, it would be far kinder to rent a hall, and let her have her one girl show. I took my kids & grandkids to these classes starting 40 yrs ago...believe me, I never once saw any of this grandstanding going on during classes or dress rehearsals. Get the picture?
this dance school combines different ages so far apart? it really ruins the recital and for the older kids.....i would not be happy...a waste of time and money running to classes, costumes....poor planning on the teachers part.....
