Children that age are not ready to be on stage, not emotionally, not mentally in every way. These kids are being ingrained that seeking attention and being the center of attention is good. I’m appalled that some teachers don’t get this. Teachers need to be taught the development stages of growth. I’ve been a teacher trainer and teacher for 40 years.
