For those of you who are looking for a quick and effective way to get your hotas in a more comfortable position just grab a square board and put it on your lap then throw your hotas on it and you're good to go. Back in the day I used to just pull the side panel off of my pc case, set it on my lap, grab my hotas and I was in business. Hope this gives someone some relief.
I just bought a pair of vkb Gladiator nxt's for Star Citizen and maybe FS22 but wasnt really shure what mount to go for. Your video really helped me, thanks!
Mine are coming tomorrow -- can't wait! I contemplated Predator and Monstertech Mounts, but too pricey IMO. The JPein mounts looked okay, but the Hikig seemed to be constructed with heavier gauge extruded aluminum. Hoping I enjoy them as much as you are!
I just recieved mine. It only came with one oval plate. Aaaargh, now I can't use my second T16000m. I mean I could try and DIY something, but I'm waiting on a respons from seller to see if I can get a second oval mounting plate. Fingers crossed.
@@MrDazTroyer I contacted the seller and explained my situation and that the pictures and other info on the website were somewhat misleading/confusing and that I mistakenly had assumed that two plates would be included. They were very friendly and sent me a second oval plate free of charge.
Hello sir, i have thrusmater hotas X, can it be fix on those tools ? If yes, do you have the link where i can buy those tools please ? Very nice stream sir, thks
Hi, I have had my X52 for about 15 years now and I had a problem with my PC and I lost some stuff off it and one of the things I lost was the software to program it. I have tried downloading the Logitech version of the software but it only has half the setup on it and I was wondering if you still had your Sailtech software disc.
literally magic imo, the clamps i have dont lock in any way. when i put the mount on the desk the clamp arm just falls down, any ideas? broken clamp? am I dumb?
The clamp has a sort of cam that you need to push the lever hard enough to overcome. It's similar to opening a rear hatch on an car or suv. You need to open it beyond a certain point or it will just fall back down when you let it go. Push the lever until the clamp bites down against the bottom of your desk then push the lever even harder and it will lock in place. I hope that makes sense.
Beware that mine only came with one oval mounting plate. So If you use 2 sticks that require the oval plate for mounting I'd double check. It's all made in China and there are several 'companies' selling this stuff under different names and even slightly different configs.
If you have x56- dont buy it!!!! they give you 1 bar type bracket for left/right, another one is stupid rectangle plate bracket. It's stupid AF. no holes for screws or only 2 fit.
I agree with Nathan. If these work, why spend more money on what is essentially the same product? Plus, most brands like MonsterTech sell the mounts for like x$ per one mount. You get two with this.

I'm actually looking into HOTAS systems for the sake of simulating Star Wars Squadrons. I really enjoyed this video! Thank you. 🙌🏽
Glad to hear it! I'm really enjoying Squadrons with it. Shop around though - even on Amazon there are various listings - and some are way overpriced!

Sold!
Been wonder what was feeling off and its posture!
They tell you to sit up straight in school - when playing flight games it turns out you need to relax and spread out!

I have this issue, did you resolve it, find a work around?

I'm having a lot of trouble putting the screw into the joystick and I don't have the same screws as you. How do I put it in?
If you have different screws then I imagine that is the problem. All I can suggest is going to your local DIY store and trying to get screws to fit.
I have glass desk so would you recommend this to clamp too?
Can those clamps be turned to the side? I got a keyboard tray under my desk and it would suck if those handles banged into it.
have you tried star wars squadrons with a yoke ???
Hi, just got this kit and there is a plate instead of a second set of bars to fit an x56. How did you fit your second controller?

Hi I have a question does it work on thrustmaster tca captain pack ?
I just ordered a set of these because my shoulders are all jacked up from the bad ergonomics of my HOTAS placement
Do m5 screws mount the stick and throttle to the mount ?
Just to make sure, this comes with 2 mounts instead having to buy 2, correct?
Correct

dude if you think its awsome on the flat screen then you gotta try it in vr

I can't understand why people buy stuff from these unknown brands with the weirdest names.
Some people can’t afford to spend $220 on monster tech mounts. These mounts cost $80 and work just fine.

No pilot in the history.... hahahahaha BIG LOL!!! (and thats true).
