@@NathanCron A buddy of mine that I marched with at both Tullahoma High and the Pride of the Southland (Chris Crumley), was the HS band director for Jessica Henderson at LaVergne. He went up to see her last game as DM. Chris was "Ed Publisher" of the "Damn Songbook and Manual" during the late 80s and early 90s. Chris was allowed into the band room to see her (and his other alumni) prior to stepping off for the parade, and got to participate in the band's singing of the Alma Mater prior to going out and lining up. Just before everything starts, Jessica grabs his arm and tells Chris with venom in her voice, "You'd better sing the REAL words!" 😂😂😂
