I've been playing Lethality fiora ever since S11, whenever I learned prowlers was a better option to hit vitals. Super easy to play for fun instead of playing serious & Gave me more time for my IRL stuff. Didn't really play competitive at this time anyways so.

@@decidueyezealot8611 exactly!!! people get so tilted and start pinging items and stuff and it's enough to deter some people but things become meta because people that are smart aren't afraid to break the existing meta or whatever... point is a lot of builds are so much fun that abuse one or more things in a champions kit but people don't see it and only go for the recommended or whatever the hell the meta items are and tbh that's just boring at the end of the day....

i wish people realized this cause even in fun game modes people just play the meta op stuff because winning is fun. It makes it so frustrating to try to play actual fun builds.

got to say man i love your channel and how it gives people the urge to try champs they love or champs they wouldn't think of playing but in a different way one of your videos got me playing a new champ that i didn't ever think of playing just because the way this person played it made it super interesting, so thanks alot for making me enjoy lol more, keep up the interesting vids mate and good luck in the future.
As someone who played a lot of Fiora, I to thisd day find it surprising that people have no idea how good PTA and Swiftness can be on her. There was even a time where going PTA and BORK rush was one of the strongest builds in the game that got completely slept on, it had like 65% WR or something. Swiftness is just overall an slept on item.
Also, lethality mythic has kind of been of a niche OTP pick for a while as well, both Prowler's and Eclipse, but you would never see anyone but super high elo OTPs build that. Actually kinda insane to look back and realize 99% of the player base would've just thought these builds were trolling.
I think it's a high risk² high reward thing, if u get stunned after the activation, the bonus damage maybe wasted, it's the reason Galeforce was nerfed from 60 CD to 90 CD, so they can only do it every so so 90 secs. I think they overemphasized the items active itself more than the decision making when to activate it.

No one really high elo builds that because it doesnt add anything new. Sure there times they simply want to have fun and build it but thats it. They already can fast proc ults, pressure sidelanes use vitals for wave management. Pta is also commonly used not slept on like you think (in high elos) because its better for a certain matchup.
Wonder what these builds look like now after the update. Is the Prowler build still even good? Also how is the build u mentioned now with the swifties
the issue with PTA is that while it's fantastic in duels, it's arguably a lot worse in 1v2s and 2v2s.
Eclipse is just a broken cheap stat cannon tho it makes sense

Great video as always ! One thing to note is the interaction with prowler isn't exactly what you described. It's not the auto going off during the slide it's just the item doing damage. Fiora's vitals can be trigerred with pretty much any damage coming from fiora, including items. Prowler does minor damage to the target when you dash on them, trigerring the vital in the process. It s similar to the way you can trigger vitals with goredrinker or even aram's snowballs

Ohhhh this is why I saw the fiora build like this in a *ranked* silver game. I was MF and had a good lane, even late game I could 1v1 her because she was so squishy. It was still close when I did, I’d live but like 10% hp but I thought it was such a weird build.

So I am an actual Fiora main And I thought I would just clarify that most of this video, aside from specifically prowler's claw some runes and maybe PTA is all things that Fiora also normally does. First back for a cull, ls, or Swifties, zoning wave, bullying while scaling... This is actually a pretty decent guide to the champion, again aside from certain quirks

I agree that not everything has to be different - you just start with what already works, add in some new items and then adapt to fix the problems it causes.
Like you say - early game is similar and that is because he doesn't have any items yet, so it's mostly the same champ other than summoner spells and runes - which do change early Laning a bit.

Fun fact: prowler's claw active increase true damage
You missed a point here, he doesn't just go prowlers because it has high ad, its only a 5 ad difference from gore. he builds prowlers because prowlers amps her MAX HEALTH TRUE DAMAGE, it increases all damage dealt by 15%. So say Fiora has 350 bonus AD late game with gathering storm, that means she does around 19 percent max health true damage per vital. So if a tank has 4k hp, that's already 760 true damage, 15 percent more means you'll be doing 874 damage each vital. So yeah pretty strong.

I used to main old fiora mid and lemme tell you this feels better than that ever did but I rolled over almost every lane every time with that silly cheese mid build lol
I have been playing renekton and fiora with prowlers for 2 months and it's pretty fun... Bad part is that's a little bit coinflip... But yeah I need to try ghost with fiora... I play renekton only with flash ghost so I may do same with fiora from now on
it's worth noting that fiora's max HP true damage is not actually amplified by prowler's claw or PTA, because true damage can't be amplified, just like how it can't be resisted
notable exceptions to this rule are damage *repeating* mechanics, like zed's death mark, yone's soul unbound, and the rune First Strike
I'm a Fiora main and started experimenting with some weird builds, from which my fav is galeforce first strike Fiora mid. Now I can't wait to try this one out!

I wonder if he has ever done a lethality crit build where he gets prowlers and 1 non critem then essence reaver, sttorm razor, and IE. That way you can crit on almost all your vital procs and your E does 235% crit dmg+vital.
Storm razor is a very bad item at the moment, collector would be better in its place tbh
@@apollosungod6673 I agree the stats on SR are poor and it is only useful for its slow effect. Collector is def an interesting an viable choice, but personally I'd like some utility item which makes me think of storm razor or phantom dancer. Navori might be the better choice though now that I think about it bc of all the haste and ad it gives. Plus the passive is still useful.

I think active items can proc vitals, at least old bork did it and stridebreaker does it aswel so it should be the same with prowlers
IIRC in the wiki it says it activates on everything that doesn't have, raw, default, or reflective tag. which is a shame thornmail would really be cool tho.

I agree all this off meta players know the game and having fun with different play style thanks to their experience and needs, now almost everyone are copy-pasting items, runes and make pre stabilized combos instead to really play the game.

Prowlers Fiora seems really fun
I build prowlers in a lot of games where I know the enemy is gonna get distance on me somehow. Or its just a no brainer on adyr.

What he said can never be more true, I live by the sentiment of League is just a game and you shouldn't be scared to try new items on a champ when I make fun new builds, even when people roast me for it. It is how I found out Riftmaker Vex is actually pretty decent as a frontline bruiser if you build her like Lillia, even tho in my DRAFT NORMAL games my teammates would interrogate me for not going "le meta full burst dmg". How about instead of caring about what others are building people just focus on their own builds lmfaoooo
I like rift maker vex too, just the shield value is ass and it melts through mana
@@pearse2944 agreed. I really hate building tear on her but without it riftmaker is just an "I go oom after every little skirmish" build sadly. Luckily archangels is being reworked in s13 so it will be really neat looking, especially on Vex!

Had this NORMAL DRAFT game on which the Mid Olaf would rundown the enemy team, start nonsense team fights and then blame me (learning skarner) for missing skill shots and building on-hit saying I'd build "the ProBuilds" and assuming I was bad because of it.
