Why didnt you use your graphite-superglue super glue?
superglue is good at eating through some materials. Maybe the zipper teeth or surrounding fabric is made of one of those materials?
super glue doesn't work well for soft plastic.

I’d use a clear straw.
I just buy a new zipper from Jo-Ann sew it in it look ok after wards but the jacket never out last second zipper.
I guarantee you pull on the bottom of that zipper it pulls apart!!!
Now all i need is to find a store to buy hot glue gun and cold glue for that hot glue gun.
