    Larry learning how to deadlift and easily getting 765. Just needed to use his legs more than his back. Probably would get 765 for 10 in 2 month training

    I’m on deployment right now an watching these vids (I barely started) are definitely making time go by for me. Also I’ve been working out for 6 almost 7 months an have never attempted dead lift my whole life but my current PR is 400lbs I would like to get to 500 before I head back home. But all in all thank you for keeping my deployment not so boring

      True. no one complains at Jamal’s deadlift either because it actually has a respectable rom. Objectively good sumo position is more efficient than conventional but it at least represents a similar lift with this form.

    I honestly think larry could easily of pulled 900 hundred + or more during that session with the sumo style.Whats crazy if you slow larrys reps down he is pulling about 7 inches higher then tyson which shows how crazy strong larry is. Tyson has the body and technique to pull smaller range of motion.I think Tyson will continue to smash records with his technique in my opinion. Awesome video!!!!!!

    He needs to invest in some versa gripps or figure 8 straps, or at the very least loop the straps more than once. Easily would have locked out with proper strap usage.

    Larry I used to do 100 reps in the adductor machine , twenty years ago, started using it again a few weeks ago I did 35 reps and stopped, next set 15 next set ten the pump was unreal , over a number of sessions no managing 3x35 reps only four plates or so on the machine , will build up to 100rep sets again, squeeze them out

    I’ve been athlete since I was nine years old. now I’m 31. I am a warm-up freak when I was younger up until I was 27 I barely warmed up and then from 27 to 29. I constantly got injury so I became a warm-up freak and I never had an injury.

    Tyson is no question an outstanding lifter but to say that he wants to break thors record is insane thats like an extra 50 kg on top of this weight, but still crazy lifts

    I think learning to do sumo you should emphasize looser arms and a less dynamic start. It’s easy to put all the emphasis on momentum and the hinge when you’re trying to go fast. Position is what makes sumo a more efficient movement than conventional

    It’s great to see the form improvement, I remember previously seeing you pull sumo and it looked like you lacked the mobility to wedge in, and it was more of a stiff legged deadlift with your legs really far apart. This looked dramatically improved.

    I can say the best warm up I always use is Ed Coan's squat/deadlift video from ST. It's the best for quad activation and hips!

    around 27:00 you are onto why sumo is so much easier. When you get into a upright position with your hips in sumo it almost completely eliminates the lower back in the lift. IM sure you know what removing the lower back does in a lift
