This might be my all time favorite RUclips comment. LOVE to see this. Your Mom is as cool as they come, my friend! I saw this same tour in NYC. April of 1991. I was a senior in High School. It was a magical time. Cheers to all of the kids watching this and listening to Fugazi in 2024
I lived in DC at that time...those were the days..sick shows at underground church venues on 16th street...Ian would always be hangin out outside with everyone on those nights before they began
Still remember going to the Wilson Center in '88 to see Ian's latest band called Fugazi play their first ever show. Wish I could go back in time and see that one again.
I don't think that show was videotaped, so you might be out of luck in terms of seeing it again unfortunately... but a high-quality audio recording of their set does exist, thankfully, and is available as part of the band's Live Series. I think you can download it from their website for whatever price you feel like paying.
You can order almost every show they had except a couple they video and audio recorded their shows and they can be bought from 0 to 6 bucks he did an interview for mental health at a college and that came up itll change things for anyone even if not seen live
my mom's in the black and white shirt right behind him

Woman in the pink behind the drummer is dancing it up! Top girl.
The mighty Fugazi! Those of us at the right age were so lucky to be young in that time. Got to see them six times in total, so very lucky. 🧡
I listen to Fugazi at least once a day like a good vitamin! Along with Op-Ivy and The Descendants! All no more!!!
U rule
Such young kids! Awesome that Fugazi was all ages and gave them all the opportunity to be at this awesome show
tears in my eyes
The energy in this room is unmatched... the good ol' days.
Watching this made me extremely happy
This song invokes so much nostalgia for me. Brings me back to my youth and skating and just fuckin around.

The epitome of "summoning it from within yourself."
I wish I'd known about these guys during that era. That show must have been amazing.
Everyone knew they was going to be recorded!!! SO EPIC!!!! GREAT BAND!!!
Greatest band of all time….yes friends
I've never got Fugazi. Being in England when the Pistols , Clash and Stranglers were playing in 1976/77. 1991 seems light years away.
too bad for you, grandpa
Fuck I miss the 90's.
the best punk band ever.
Always surrounded. I don't think they were comfortable unless the walls were caving in on them.
Was a young skate/surf rat at this time and didn’t give a shit about nothing but having fun..Great band!!!
I love seeing the Freeform clapping guy does
Almost 30 years ago! iNSANE
The kid with yellow hat and long face: CIA
That kid was actually one of the organizers/promoters of the show, and was apparently exhausted by the time Fugazi went onstage!

I want to know what happened with everyone that appears in this video, what are they up to today? What are their jobs, tastes, and views today?
They all started record labels.
@@FrennisDaemon I really hope so, it would be horrible to think they ended up becoming boring burocrats.
Thinking the same damn thing!
