I was actually watching the guitar parts, how they fit together. Helped set up this show, as it were. Ian and Guy shared vegan pizza with me before the show. Poor little me, I saw Fugazi about 20 times.
There's more footage from this show floating around. I know there's an extended version of "Suggestion" with Amy Pickering from Fire Party singing, and Nation of Ulysses playing "Spectra Sonic Sound" with only one guitarist. Is there anything else? And who else played this show?
Steve Kroner quit NOU right before this show, so they went with one 🎸. Admiral played as well. I helped set up this show. I'm the lil dude who's leaning on Ian's amp in the yellow hat... exhausted from Admiral.
@@bulldogbat thanks for sharing that detail! I uploaded this vid (on my old CutsFromTheVault channel), and noticed you in the crowd from the first time I watched this show, after getting it in the mail as part of a tape trade... because you do stick out in the crowd a bit, lol... always wondered if maybe you'd been dragged to the show by someone else and just weren't really feeling the band's sound. But as someone who helped organize and promote a few shows in my late teens, I know how exhausting it can be to get everything and everyone coordinated and make sure the gig goes as planned, so your demeanor makes perfect sense in context! One of my favorite things about RUclips is how people can share little personal details like this... it really helps to bring archival footage like this to life in a whole new way. So thanks again for the memories!
God damn!!! BC was at the top of his game during this era.. best drummer.
Beat Rhythm section ever (well - at par with Bill Ward and Geezer Butler)
Brendan no. 1
The biggest pit I've ever been was this song at the Hollywood Palladium. It was a sea of bodies doing laps around the floor at a hard sprint.
And they didnt stop the show? lol
Will always love Fugazi! Excellent is putting it mildly!
goosebumps...wish i was there again...
Seen them 2x... Belgium... Leuven, Ghent.... Goosebumps... Would be nice to see again... In Budapest.... I ll go for sure...
Haha, that guy in the yellow cap...
That's why it's extra funny when Ian opens up with, "KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!"
+Sebastian Mosur (猛者蛙・瀬芭) Do you see the guy in the makeup just swaying at 3:00 to 3:04? cracks me up every time.
We've all been there one show or another haha

Love it thank you
Totally understand your comment, and I agree for you, but I think Minor Threat holds the "best band to ever exist" honor. And were both right.
