I think Nuclear Blast seriously underestimated how popular this boxset was gonna be with fans! Only 1000 made… & it sold out in 2hrs… says it all really eh! I do feel very lucky to have got one… coz I know a lot of people have missed out! You just know the new ‘Incantation’ is gonna be a beast of an album don’t you! Another band that never lets you down! I agree that they definitely underestimated the want for this box set. I guess they don't think these bands gain new fans and the Dismember albums at least for me are hard to come by. I was thrilled that their library finally became available on itunes so I could at least listen to them. Thanks Marc

It's a killer set, no envy here, hehe. Congrats on getting one. Richard is a Diamon on the OG as well. The only minus with this box is the yellow vinyl's........ That book looks so damn good, and hope they do a repress with black vinyl. 😉Cheers.

It’s mad that after all the years of being a fan of ‘Dismember’… & the countless times I’ve looked at the artwork… I didn’t realise Richard called himself ‘Diamon’ on the first couple of albums… I just always thought it was ‘Cabeza’! I’m sure at some point they will eventually do reissues in good ol’ black! Email them Roger, lol!🤘🏻

I have pick up the 3 first Dismember albums on vinyl, but would love to have the box set.

Yeah… I’ve seen that ‘Deicide’ boxset… & it is very basic isn’t it… a bit like the recent ‘Overkill’ one! This one is very well done & including the book & rarities record… in along with their discography… is exactly how to do it! Thanks mate!🤘🏻

Wow what an awesome box set Marc! It has to be one of the best they've done over the last few years. I've seen a couple of people show it but it just never gets old seeing this amazing set. I haven't ever listened to this band, or most of the Swedish Death Metal scene. The first couple would be a good place to start, but what you were saying they're all solid. Haha, the tumbleweed returns!! Maybe one too many hobgoblins, but saying that you've done it without drinking too!! 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks Josh! ‘Nuclear Blast’ have certainly put some thought & effort into this boxset… which they should really when you’re paying three figures for it! Their first 3 releases are definitely where it’s at if you’re a fan of ‘Dismember’… but if you’re brand new to them… then yeah… all their releases are solid… & their later stuff might even appeal to some people more because of its more melodic approach!🤘🏻

An excellent looking box set there Marc. Nice touch with the coloured vinyl. The demos and rarities also add to the top quality of it along with that book. And like you said a lot of sets miss something like that out. Enjoy spinning.
Thanks Grant! Yeah… I think Nuclear Blast have absolutely nailed it with this boxset mate! Adding in the rarities & the very comprehensive book is exactly what something like this needs! This is actually only the 2nd boxset I own… & normally I’m not as extravagant… but as soon as I saw this was coming out… there was no way I was missing out on one!🤘🏻

I’m so glad to hear that your’s arrived safely & without any damage mate! I feel bad for the people who were lucky enough to grab one… but then unlucky for it to arrive damaged! There’s not gonna be a replacement available on this set with it being such a limited run is there eh! Us vinyl collectors are so in the hands of the couriers & delivery service aren’t we! You did a good job here birthday boy. I agree they should go the extra mile on these things, that set hits the spot. I'm looking forward to getting my first two albums at the end of the month. Ever Flowing absolutely passed me by at the time. The Dreaming in Red video was my intro. That Indecent album is properly savage isn't it. Even today it's lost none of that.

Nicke Anderson was a truly inspirational figure in the Stockholm scene back in the day wasn’t he! Along with playing the lead guitar on their debut… he also designed the original ‘Dismember’ logo too!🤘🏻

bro nuclear blast has done that for decades. I had my red Enforcer - From Beyond preorder that i made 10 MINUTES after it was put online, cancelled. they need to get it together @@marc.g.with.a.c.

Nuclear Blast have made a real nice job of this boxset imo… & the addition of a good booklet… packed nicely with pictures & memorabilia from back in the day… is exactly what a good boxset should have… it keeps us fans & collectors happy right!🤘🏻

Nice to see it arrived in minty fresh condition. The booklet certainly makes the boxset and personally I think it was still at a buy me quick price regardless of the import costs.

El box es genial pero las ediciones individuales son mas bonitos los vinilos pienso que deberian haber echo algo mas especial con los vinilos por ejemplo negros con algun toque de colore que solo se identificaran con esa edición y no ponerlos solo azules y rojos me parece un fallo estético en esa edición

The vinyl variants they have chosen for the individual releases are far better & more in keeping with the album artwork (which I always think is important) than the boxset variants! i sold all my back on black reissues in 2018 when dismember first announced the reissue campaign. I also sold my first press Like an everflowing stream (For $60) and the Where Ironcrosses Dwell for $50 (which is how much I paid for it). Been waiting for the Dismember re-releases ever since... and here I didn't even know this box was released.
At least I got the first 6 albums on preorder.
@@ianswift3521 I think selling the ‘BOB’ reissues in anticipation of this set… was a good idea tbh… as the sound & cover art quality on those releases… leaves a lot to be desired! Glad to hear you got the separate reissues preordered… I think a lot of people have had to take that route… & no doubt they’ll be sold out in no time too!🤘🏻
