It sucks because all of their albums aren’t on streaming services anymore. You gotta go out of your way to download it illegally. I don’t support Ian in the slightest, but the music needs to still be archived… The band was more than just Ian, they could always reform and get a new singer. Their lives and careers didn’t deserve to be destroyed.
@@ossihurme7572 I swear I seen a comment once where someone said that Stuart Richardson said that the royalties nowadays go to child sex abuse charities. I know for a fact that the royalties don’t go to Ian, since Lee Gaze and Stu got a civil lawsuit against the royalty claims, but I hope they do in fact go to victims of sex abuse. That would be a great cause.
After listening to this album, Another Shot stands out as the best song for me, it sounds like "Start Something" and also like Prog Metal which I love. But yeah agreed, this album is solid! Still need to see these guys live. Maybe when they're back in Wales!
Cause everybody grew up so fast Another generation past But it still feels like home to me And even if those days have gone They give me strength to carry on Cause it feels like home to me
This is better than the actual album version because you can actually hear Watkins sing. Johnson is good but I'm a Chaplin guy. Loosing him, they've never sounded the same. Still, Best song on the album!
Oh yeah, you know what you are talking about because you "are a drummer." Well I think Luke Johnson knows what he's doing because he's the drummer of Lostprophets, and was formerly in Beat Union... Something tells me he's got it covered.
Watching the drummer is hilarious. You really don't need to hit a kit that hard xP (I'm a drummer so I do know what I'm talking about..) Love this song, though. One of the best songs of the year, no question about it.

I'm not saying he's a bad drummer, I'm just saying his "style" is hilarious to watch. I like his drumming, and I do know that he know's what he's doing. RYAN1990ism is right, that's just his style. You can still hear the rest of the band, so it really doesn't matter.
Agreed. Drummers who don't move at all are just creepy to watch, lol.. And I've tried playing without moving and it's no fun at all, and the drumming sounds much more forced, and just crap in general.
they pretty much went downhill after thefakesoundofprogress in my opinion. This song is just, awful. They're not exactly doing anything different or pushing the boundaries of music.
This song is a beauty. What does pushing the boundaries even mean? If a song makes you nod or has good instrumentals, it's good, simple as that. Maybe Taylor Swift would be suitable for you
I wouldn’t call this song bad, however by Lostprophets standards it sounds LAZY-as does most of Weapons…really you can see where the band was falling apart and Ian was starting to do drugs (and other, far worse things) by listening to their discography and live performance (here Ian is hitting the right notes, but any semblance of resonance is gone from his voice). Really in a better timeline where Watkins stayed off the drugs and GOT HELP BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE, Weapons wouldn’t have existed as it is, because most of the songs on it (except Young Pretenders (which even then might have been different) and the 4 Garage Sessions songs (which were recorded in 2007)) feel really phoned in and uninspired, at least by Lostprophets standards-certainly compared to Start Something or (my favorite, especially if we include B-sides) Liberation Transmission. Also in said much better timeline Watkins would have had MUCH more vocal range-really on Weapons he showed less range than on Start Something and barely more than on FSOP (and with worse tone), when logically he should have kept gaining range up to about age 40, and thus peaked in 2017-18 (he was 28 when Liberation Transmission came out and 34 when Weapons did, meaning that he lost range in an unnatural way-specifically due to possibly THE WORST drug addiction I have ever seen from a rock singer)…
Damn song always makes me mourn! :c
Love how the rest of the band never got out of first gear, but the drummer had his foot to the floor the whole way!
excelente lostprophets amo su música desde acá chile
This song changed my life for the better
Excelente cancion..........excelente banda....saludos desde Colombia,,los esperamos pronto por aca..........go prophets.....
ian's singing has improved LOADS

He was the main lyricist and songwriter and would still be profiting off royalties
@@ali_s93I forgive him
Good news mate, they’re back up on itunes and spoot, bought em all the second I could
@@ali_s93 You'd think most of that would go to victims. Other than that what is he gonna use it, buying some donuts from canteen?

I love this song, the Best o the weapons album
Awesome!!
Chaplin was the best drummer this band ever had. I miss the golden days of Start Something but this album is really solid.

the best song of weapons
Surely know i'm gonna miss home where Ian was on the band, this old place feels now like a bunch of boredom and loneliness...
Cool!)
well maybe thats how he plays everyone has their own style
that's just how he plays y'know, it's his style, its better than playing like a stick throughout a whole song! :p
Schöne Uhr.
it's tacky. Chanel watch haha, an 'expensive' watch for people who don't know anything about watches

Would of been a great acoustic song
Ian WAtkins seems put on weight :(
You haven't been around then, there's a lot worse.
