- First: Please remember- my lovely mother (Christy) did not have to come here to do this. She did it because she is lovely and kind and I hope my Stays will be the same.
Second: She says this herself, but please remember that my mother has had a brain injury via a stroke. So, I ask you to be understanding of that.
Third: I am not perfect! I very well may get some things wrong...

As a mom you had me in tears every time you glanced at your mom to see her reaction. I don’t know if my daughter checks me out but next time she shows me something she loves I will keep an eye out to see if she glances at me. Love the bond you both have.

Trust me, she does. I remembered being a little kid and constantly looking at my parents because they're our greatest source of joy when we are so little. Even right now at 27, I want to make sure my mom is happy when we are watching things together because that makes me happy, too.
it can end so quickly. I lost my dad when i was 20.. and we lost my husbands dad last year.. he was a father to me after my father had died.. My mom is still here at 82, and My husbands mom, too. Life is so busy, so I cherish the time i have with them. Thanks for supporting Maggie’s channel.. ❤

@@minsungseungmin Probably since i am only just learning who they are and what they bring to the group .. i don’t have a single bias yet .. each of them bring a different strength.. it’s a little like what’s the best ice cream flavor .. (answer depends on what sounds good in the moment)

You can never be too old to appreciate Stray Kids and other k-pop groups! I'm 72, grew up in the time of the Beatles and I appreciate the amazing talent of SKZ. Unfortunately, my friends don't understand, so I send them links of my faves.

Heh heh. I'm the mom...and the Stay. I made my daughter watch and listen to Stray Kids against her will. LOL. Now she's a Stay and we excitedly keep each other up to date on memes, comebacks, and news in general even though she is in another country. It's been a wonderful journey together.

For me as a toddler STAY (43F) (ODDINARY era - I've seen it all, so have progressed myself outside of Baby) I was blessed to have a spouse (50s M) who is so invested in Me, that he was curious to what I was into, and he is now a Baby-Stay himself (I'd say he knows 80% of their tracks and .05% of the memes). We're the proud owner of (soon to be) 3 albums, and have been to a concert. The majority of music we listen to is now SKZ. Honestly, I couldn't imagine being this die-hard for a group without familiar support. It's such a hard thing to explain otherwise, unless they really want to know, and are passionate about what makes you passionate.
I am taking baby (ha!) steps with my own mother... so this entire journey with you two is just an inspiration. Thank you!
That’s so cool. Maybe she can watch with you, too. Maggie’s Dad (53 M) is a huge music fan, he has also become a Stay with me after watching Kingdom with me (and even has a Felix bias). I have loved not feeling alone at our age because other Stays have reached out and been so amazingly kind. Maggie is really reaching a whole group that she didn’t know exists with her channel. I was lucky to be able to take my 22 yr old daughter and her BF to their concert earlier this year, and nothing makes me happier than listening to her jam SKZ in her car haha. They really know no boundaries and if they weren't such great people, idk that I'd have fell this hard for them (especially as someone from a non- 'boy band', I was solely rock or rap background). SKZ just hits different! They're an excellent group, comprised of excellent talent, but more than that - they're just an inspiration to anyone to follow their passions.
I think my mom had already said it best but, there’s something special about being able to share this with people you love! When I became a Stay, I never imagined being able to share it with my parents! It has been so much fun!
And doing this channel has allowed me to meet so many Stays from so many different walks of life! I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of this community!

I love your interaction between you and your mom. I totally related to the day MTV first launched it channel and we made our schedules around the release of a new music videos and the VJ (video disc jokies) my favorite was Martha Quinn.. Being a 57 year old STAY along with my son who is also a STAY fanatic their is no age limit to enjoying good music. When we went to see them in Atlanta Maniac tour i met wonderful 50 to 60 year ols STAYs. I hope you and your mom can enjoy these boys together ❤ like so many families i saw at the concert enjoying.❤❤ much love to you❤❤

this actually had me almost tearing up bcs my mom has never been supportive of my love for stray kids or anything that has to do with kpop.
