Im having a problem with controlling my audio coming from my computer. So Im doing records from QuickTime screen share at the same time running FaceTime or Zoom with RUclips all running at the same time. How am I separating the audio if it is all coming from channel 11/12 on the ProFX 12V3? I see your set up and it isn't like what the guys from Mackie are telling me. Is it a software that I need to separate it?

it just arrived. And here I am watching this all over again. I want to add that I identify with your line of thought - even in trough the height of COVID, I understood pretty soon the problems you pointed out, and I wasn't going to do a load of effort just for a small clip, or social media stuff, and you nailed it.. Somewhere along the line I just quit trying to find solutions because I thought I already had all the main gear necessary -my interface, camera etc, but editing time was just too much to do, on top of the rest of stuff I have to focus so much time already. This is it.
    THANKS

Just bought this a couple months ago. it's all hooked up. I'm using the pro-tools first that came with it. With no one to jam with. I can now record the one man band. Play & lay down all the parts individually. 2 channels to the computer & 4 back to the mixer

In OBS you can also set wave limiters and compressors so you can send mastered audio through your live signal with OBS.

Wow! Even though this is 1 year old it’s great information. I happen to purchase the same Mixer just 2 weeks ago and also have a ZenQ from antelope so this gives plenty of information I needed to stream live.
Thank you so much . Hopefully you have an update or new content so I can learn more. If you happen to get your hands in a Antelope ZenQ it will be awesome to have a tutorial so detail like you did for this Macker Mixer. Thank you thank you .
    Merry Christmas.

Wassup Dave! Great video on the Mackie ProFX12v3!
I've worked in radio broadcasting for nearly 20 years. I'm not much of a musician, but I play around with an Epiphone acoustic guitar 🎸 (RUclips trained. I can play about five chords, lol).
Anyway, I really enjoyed this replay. It was extremely informative, professional and personal as well. I currently produce podcasts and voiceover work and I'm looking to get this mixer in the near future to upgrade from my old Mackie 802VLZ23.
I keep convincing myself that I need the soon to be released this Summer Mackie Onyx 12 (true multi-track recording), but I think the ProFX12v3 is what I need. The Onyx 12 is what I want, but I don't truly think I need it. Besides it's almost double the price of the ProFX12v3.
1:00:56 I thought this comment was hilarious 😂😆!
You've got a new subscriber man! Thanks!

Great video. Just got my Mackie Pro12fx last December. This was the solution I needed. One suggestion on the webcam, in OBS you can adjust your webcams to have great quality.
You can also use your wave plugins for your mic input. Just imagine using auto tune on your vocal on live stream OBS is the way.
DSLR is awesome as a main face camera.

Hi, thanks for the nice info video about the mackie profx12. 👍
I'm thinking about to use the mixer for live streaming and you gave some good informations about it. But one thing is not clear for me. Is it possible to hear the sub channel only on the phones? Do i do this with the "To Phones/Control RM" button? Or will i hear the sub AND the main channel on the phones after this?
I hope you understand what i mean. 🙂

We just purchased a Mackie ProFx30v3 for our Church to replace an old EV M4 24 channel Mixing Console.
we will be connecting 2 keyboards, 1 Lavalier Pastor Mic, 3 guitars , 1 pulpit mic, 2 choir mics, 8 wireless hand mics, 1 Wireless x4 Lapel Mics, 1 DVD audio in and 1 tape Audio in. I hope we will be able to get all these working.
We live stream and have been having trouble with poor audio on the music portion of the streaming The pulpit and Pastor's Lavalier come through ok.
