Actually after all these years, I never really focused on their individual vocal arrangement. But when I listened to their Acapella, I noticed that the bass is really great and I found out it was actually Kian! 😍😍😍😍
To clarify Shane does the Melody Mark does the higher harmony Brian does the low harmony. In the case of My Love, the original track, the low harmony is barely audible, maybe it's not even there. But in live performances he does what he does on the video and what Mark said, it makes the sound much better. However their understanding that it is a bass harmony isn't quite clear. It's more of a baritone sound. Then comes Kian who does the Bass Harmony or the melody in lower octave. While Kian only sings the Melody with Shane either on Live or studio, or maybe he really doesn't sing on Live perfomances. But Nicky did have improvements recently. So yeah😅
Yea, thats true! Actually, I think the harmony Brian is showing here of 'My Love' is the actual low harmony he recorded in the studio rather than in live performances. In fact, I think they all showed here the real studio vocal harmonies of My Love, no doubt about it :D Because as you know, in live performances they sing it completely different from the studio version :)

tbh only 3 guys from westlife can really "sing". we all know that nicky and kian are weak singers and not "that clever" on doing harmonies like mark and brian do
I disagree with you about Kian, because Kian's bass is good, you can watch another acapella from Westlife like "We Are One" acapella, he also can play the piano (including classical music) which I consider he will not easily get false in singing
