I have no idea how you dont have more subscribers, this was the calmest perfectly-paced set of instructions ever and i love how you went from that to the goofy stage of " wow this looks amazing" I loved this! Keep it up!
Top vid my man ! Straight forward short concise ...no mumbo jumbo mucking around the peripherals . Thankyou for your help . As last guy said . You deserve more recognition..cheers
Glad someone was able to get this working. I can't get this working for anything. Oculus says the headset's connected, FS2020 says NOPE! Not having any of it. "headset not detected" all day, every day!. But, the headset's paired in airlink. What is the magical dance I have to do to get it working? LOL
This is a very good video. Straight-to-the-point and concise. I think maybe it's time to upgrade from the rift s to the quest 2. By the way you don't have to go into the menu system and flight simulator to switch to VR. Press control tab by default and spacebar to center. Liked.
In Airlink, when I click on 'switch to VR' i don't get full VR. It's just 180 degree view.. like a big screen. It does work in Virtual Desktop though. Any ideas why this is? Edit : Solution was to: Open META app - settings - General - Open XR Runtime.. then 'Set Oculus as active'.
This was a big help. I kept opening the oculus app on my computer and couldn’t get vr mode to work but now I did everything you said and it works. I just have to fix the game from being glitchy.
I cannot let you know a refreshing it is to have somebody calmly slowly walk you through the steps. Instead of having me go into config files, databases, make me fight all the way to the master control program with a light cycle that has a bad front wheel. I'm about to try your method hopefully it'll work I'll keep you posted. Dillinger end-of-line
@@johnstechrepair I appreciate you getting back with me yeah I'm having a real hard time getting everything to work properly I have a brand new HP Omen laptop with an i7 and a 3070 and I cannot seem to get my Oculus quest to work with any Steam games in VR. Hi, are you still doing videos, I came across your video, I tried everything but when I go to change to vr, there's just a question mark it does not say switch to vr mode, can you help, regards
Everything was great but when I tried to switch to vr mode it said “ please verify that your computer is set up for mixed real” I was wondering if you know how to fix this
But I have a sim flight joystick so can I use it with my hands without the vr joysticks to click the buttons on the plane like to turn on engine and things like that.
In the other videos i noticed black lines side of the video. Someone says it's because of the vr capturing how did you solve this? I want to buy that vr. I'm confused.
Hi there, Im actually thinking about buying a Oculus quest 2 for MFS2020, the only thing which still keeps me from purchasing is the fact that im not sure if my PC is powerfull enough. I have a RTX2060 and a Ryzen 7 3700X... im also kinda interested what ur PC specs are :], because ur Graphics are lookin awesome
I can't get it to work for the life of me if you figure it out please let me know I got a brand new powerful laptop with vorpx and I cannot get it to work
How do I hook up MS Flight Sim to Quest 2 ? Do I install the MS SIm first on a PC and then hard wire connect to a Quest 2 ? I have a Macbook, so I guess I will have to purchase a PC ?
No offense but at the end you just zoned out in disbelief of how amazing it was 😂😂😂

Thanks for the vid! Is it possible to use the quest for viewing only but use a dedicated joystick to control the plane?

I bought an Acer 5.It’s a gaming laptop and works really well
I mean I know this is old but the Lenovo Legion 5i tower gen 7
Build your own! 2070s are going for $300 right now. More than enough to handle VR.
@@Clos93 really?
@@meric12131415 good time to build a PC right now! I would look up GPU prices, you may be pleasantly surprised... 😉
much appreciated. Each time its a challenge to set it up wit Oculus. your vid helps out alot. Only need to brush up on your pilot skills next time. 😆
I really enjoyed this video, could you explain how to do it thru game pass pc if you have that experience or did you get flight simulator on Steam?
Hi, thank you for this helpful video. how did you capture VR in one window. thanks

thank you!
69k of views gg boy!! Hello from France !!
Followed the steps, but the vr mode button doesn’t do anything
thank you bro!
So, Microsoft Flight Simulator doesn't have VR mode, just splits the screen in 2?
Which MSFS did you launch, was it from steam or the microsoft xbox app on the computer?
Steam
Thanks!
Now only if it didn't require a data center to run it in VR on the quest 2 that would be great.

Nothing is more annoying than when someone says “right” after every other sentence, right?
EVERY QUEST HAS A DISTINCTIVE PAIRING CODE !
I get error please verify that your computer is set up for mix reality.
