I wish I had done this quest as you suggested, right out of Helgen. It really helps the cash flow and I really love alchemy so its a perfect win for me!
Goldenhills has been a Must in nearly every PT I did (and a great home for Hilda, Sweet Roll etc. 😁). When you plant the most expensive ingredients, you get even more yield from the farm. I luckily never had the ghost glitch, but since installing other mods I have only the glitch with the steward, and a CTD when I accidentally ask for the interior fittings in the wrong order. (Alchemy/Enchanting needs to be bought last, or the game crashes upon entering the house). Great idea taking Faendal and hiring him! I always used Erik but since I have Kaidan, that is not an option anymore, so this is awesome! And good to see you back! Your videos are much more for my taste than many others out there 🤘🤘🤘
I'm thinking of doing a video on making huge money with the farm using ingredients to make and sell potions, the truth is I wanted a passive income, and to be honest you'll quickly reach the point where you'll have more money than you'll ever need with this method... I like the idea of having Eric as the steward,
It's indeed a great way to get income quickly, @@TiddlyOggyI always plant the expensive ingredients AND the ones I need for the most effective, levelling up and selling potion (e.g. damage magicka regen), e.g. canis root, imp stool, nightshade and blue mountain flower. Levelling up Alchemy to level 70 gives you the green thumb where you get double the ingredients from a harvest, and the farm adds a multiplier to that, so you get 4x2 canis root or so, when you pick the harvest yourself. (And yes, I made it into a strategic science itself 😂😂😂)
Another way to maximise the profits of the place is to plant ingredients to make high value potions. My go to is blue mountain flower and nightshade and when mixed together they make a very valuable potion. This means this farm gets you gold, and then when you make and sell these potions you also get benefits to your alchemy skill, and speech skill, along with the money from the potions As per @Leto85 comment, giving them to the East Empire Merchants to sell on your behalf is best as you still get loads of money, and because the potions are high value, you’ll have far more potions than you can ever sell if you try to sell them manually
I was considering this, but for the purposes of most of these videos I am only using what's available in AE, I also just wanted a passive income, kind of a fire and forget thing, so I decided not to go into detail about a mod that many people probably won't get... I'm thinking about doing a video this mod at a later date
@@TiddlyOggy yeah I think that’s the right call, the video was spot on. This was more for the people in the comments who may want to make even more money. I enjoy your stuff!
I actually use the farm to get ingredients for the most expensive potions and then give 60 or so of the to the vendors of the East Empire Expansion to sell, which they do and I get 30% of the profit, which is around a few million Septims in return. Try it. It's fun! We can legit max out our money in Skyrim. And when you exceed that you get in the negative and can't buy anything anymore, only sell. 😂

Glad to see new videos from you :) Not playing the game anymore, but it's still inspiring to watch and listen!
Thanks brother, hope things are going well with your music
Tiddly is back, and that's giggly. 😊
I like it that you upload more lately.

Yep, this is a really nice CC farm mod. I recommend. I just picked it up. Very helpful mod. Thanks for showing it off.
Amazing video 🎉
Thanks a million, very much appreciated
One of my favorite investment...yes the property was a quest but you get so much profit from it.
Once you've got it all set up it's a bit of a game changer, it really frees you up
Just one suggestion, if you want to keep Faendel as a follower, Beirand from the Solitude tavern makes a great alternative.
Thanks for the video. Hope you're well.
All good brother, hope you're well
amazing video👍🙂
Thank you! Cheers!

Only had problems with the mod if I pick up the toy sword first, could it be a mod conflict?
I've really no idea what bugs this one out, that's why I suggested hard saving outside the cell before you go anywhere near it
