Best study tips. I have been looking for videos like the ones he does for a long time. Thank you to u for caring about students success. I wish I had a teacher like u in high school and college. I would not be struggling now as a 55 year old student. Thank u so much.
Great lectures. I've assigned your Taking Better Lecture Notes video to my AP 10th grade students to prepare them for our first lecture. I had them take notes on your lecture, and incorporate the strategies you teach as they are taking their notes. Noticed a positive difference in their lecture note-taking skills today! Think I will assign the this test prep video as well. Thanks for posting!
He's an incredible teacher. There's actually one prof where I go that doesn't want us to study /enough/. But a person can always make up for that by themselves.
Thank you that was very informative in addition recording lectures has worked extremely well for me because I'm able to focus on my professors most important points and then I'm able to highlight and revisit this info
Ok so, I'm a high school student in Belgium. I learning to be a teacher for the smaller children (don't know how to say this in English.) It's now 28/03/2013. I still have to finish I think 6 tasks, including making instruments and that sort of things. I have a week of teaching ahead which means I have to make a lot of preparations, and I have my finals in 8 weeks. This means 3 weeks and a half, making 17 exams. I think it is obvious.. I NEED YOUR HELP!
he mentions stretching, getting a snack & going to bathroom in 1 of his videos in this series.Moving your eyes from side to side to help memory(he doesn't mention that last part, thought I would add it,I'm not an LBCC lecturer btw)
hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to uncover study skill strategies try Sarparder Speed Study Starter (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend got amazing success with it.
Took professor Scott my freshman year in college 2012 & till this day I still use some of his tricks 😅😁
