Bri, awesome video! Get rid of the term "disability" and use a term coined by the Roloffs of "Little People Big World", "diff-ability". Yes, you have challenges, but who doesn't? It's sad that more isn't done in schools to educate kids on more than just "reading, writing, and rithmetic". The schools need to do more to teach kids about tolerance and acceptance. Bullying in schools is very much around and in many ways has gotten worse. I have had quite a few challenges of my own through the years. Heart and urinary problems that weren't corrected until almost 9, depression and anxiety that I've probably had since early childhood, not to mention ADD. I don't understand nor will I probably ever understand how everything is intertwined or how much of the medical aspects, and social issues have left me with the social and psychological mess that I'm in. How much of it is from the actual medical issues, how much is from the anesthesia for surgery at such a young age, and so on. I work hard on not dwelling on it because it is what it is. With all of that, I can say that I live alone, and have a job that I can support myself on. If you want something really inspirational to read, read the books by Jodi Blanco, "Please Stop Laughing at Me" and "Please Stop Laughing at Us". Try to do something that I still have trouble with, love yourself. It's very hard for others to like/love you, if you don't like/love yourself.
