After the clutch kit install I noticed a slight vibration and rattle coming from the clutch. So out of concern I pulled the clutch cover and noticed the lines on the inner and outer sheaves and the ramp plate were not lined up.I lined everything up and put it back together and started her up.No rattling or vibration,I wouldn't have none about lining everything up if it wasn't for your video,Thank's bro.👍👍👍
I cant speak for sure on every model because I've heard of a couple say they don't have any lines on theirs. But I believe that the majority of the units with fully stock from factory clutches are gonna have marks showing that it was a fully balanced complete primary
@@RealTalkPowersports Thanks Blake for the additional information. Keep up all the great updates. There is a lot to understand. I hope I don’t screw things up when I get mine. Stay safe.
@@RealTalkPowersports so should I go wider? I was hoping to put spacers 1.5” with a 5x2 wheel offset just to have more stability. What do you think in your opinion?
@@MrJeepguy1974 Wider stance up front will help with stability but won't do much or maybe anything for wandering on gravel, wider tires will help it "float" better in gravel, keeping the machine on top instead of digging in.
I notice that bearing on the right sheave has a noticeable gap with the sheave, but the one on the left does not. Reclocked my secondary few days back and noticed the gap. Feel a bit worried for the belt lifetime, because it already has some wear marks on the inside due to the cap between bearing and the sheave, right where the edge of the bearing runs. Been doing some research, bearings on the 500 and 1000 does not have the gap, but the 600 does (mine is also a 2022 600). Also it's keeping my secondary under tension, not spinning but just tension, making it hard to shift from gear to gear. Is there any way to change that gap or what's the story/meaning behind that. To me personally it seems that eventually edge of that bearing will ruin my belt.
Your video is great. I watch all of them. I have CFMOTO CFORCE 1000 model 2021 quad. I installed The Scorpion red power exhaust on it together with K&N filter. It goes maximum 78 mph. Can you hel me with one technical question. How can I get a better response and faster start? Do you have any recommendations or tips? I am interested in making better performances with my quad. I am from Europe, a small country Croatia.
Hey Blake I got a question for you. I’m loving the look of the cf motos and your channel is a big part of that. I’m trying to get a bike for trail riding but also mud riding. I’m stuck between the outlander 570 XMR and the cforce 600. My question is do you think the 600 has got enough power to make a good mud build? I’ve seen the videos with your 800 mud build and it looked awesome. Just worried about not being able to get through the sloppy stuff. Price difference is about 2k and I would much rather save! Any help would be appreciated man thank you
Well to be honest the power on the 570 XMR is noticeably stronger than the cforce 600. With that being said, you save so so much by going with the cforce 600 and customizing it yourself and making it unique just the way you want it. I had our first 600 on 28 inch system 3 xm310s and a clutch kit and it did great.
2021 cforce 500... no marks on the ramp plate. Dont remember seeing any marks on the unit when I pulled it either. Hmm... maybe needs another look? Nothing weird going on, hate pulling that cover, it's a PITA.
Yea it can be a pain haha. Its no biggie.. just next time you have a little free time; take the cover off and give it a look over. As long as its not doing any abnormal vibrations it should be fine to ride till u can check it out
how do you pull the inner primary sheave off of a 2018 zforce 1000? my buddy was working on replacing my belt and got the 18mm reverse thread bolt seized in the inner sheave.
I'd have to take a look at the design of my clutches. My CForce has older clutches that are an actual CFMoto design. it would be cool if I could upgrade them with the CV-Tech clutches but I wouldn't hold my breath. The engines of the newer CForce's probably have a different shaft design.
@@RealTalkPowersports It's a 2014. From what I can tell it was their model they sold for a while over in Europe before coming to the states. It was known as the X5 over there I believe. It's a nice bike but compared to their newer machines the fit & finish is a bit crude in places and is much less user-friendly as far as maintenance goes compared to the new machines. Lots of bolts, lots of push-pins holding panels on, and takes a screw on oil filter. Though I see they still used the same 4x4/dif-lock setup as mine on their 2020 models. So I wonder if their newer dif-lock controls would work as a replacement. :)

I need to order a fuel pump to get it ready for the summer. And possibly some new tires, the stock ones are starting to get down on the tread. From drilled part it seems outer and inner are not balanced. Only balancing is done on outer inner part - it has drill holes. I think when changing parts need to balance all unit and drill inner of outer part where drill holes are seen. But then, weigths do move unbalanced and who does offer balancing service for these? I know some balance long shafts on mowers and drums on combines without taking off from machine. They come to machine and do it in place. Have not seen it done and haven't more info. Probably any electric motor balancing company will do these cvt as long as you provide right fit shaft to put cvt on. Maybe cut old crankshaft end?
I dont believe all that would be that necessary. Out of all the 4x4 racing teams and people that mud race and GNCC race with CVT driven machines, they do a lot of modifications to clutches without perfectly balancing them with each modification. Things would have to get way out of wack and out of balance to cause enough vibration to actually cause some extra wear over time.

I can’t find a replacement clutch information that will interchange that shows compatibility with the newer brands, can anyone out there help me?
If the primary clutch plates are balanced together at the factory, does than imply that replacing only one of the plates can put the assembly out of balance?
It would no longer be a complete balanced unit. But they sell them as individual pieces and send dealers individual balanced pieces. So if thats a potential issue then someone higher up than me needs to come out and clarify why they sell individual pieces if it could potentially cause vibration in the clutch if using individually balanced components of the clutch.
