Buck springing into motion hits even harder when you realize he had to take a second to work up the courage and set aside his own fear in order to throw himself under a firetruck to get to Eddie, after previously being crushed by one.
She said you can’t go see “his” son like this, Taylor knows Christopher isn’t bucks child? 😂 I had my subtitles on too so trust me she said “his” not “your” 😅
The opening of this episode was mind blowing. I really liked that part when Eddie asked Buck if he is hurt while bleeding to death and the part that Chris was comforting Buck not the other way around. Love your reactions!
That part had me surprised as well. If I was Buck I would be Like seriously you're the one that's shot and bleeding to death and you're asking about me 😂
Such a great episode! Buck was basically the mvp of the episode. He got Eddie out of there, treated him as much as he could on the truck, talked to Christopher and took care of him while Eddie was gone and took the risk for all of them at that crane incident. The scene with Chris was heartbreaking but so good. Back when we were waiting for it to air they had released the clip of buck crying without the message to make us believe it was bad news, the bastards😅Instead it was the good news that got him when he finally let go and broke down. The scene with Bobby reprimanding him was so good but Bobby’s got it wrong. Buck doesn’t think he’s invincible. It’s Eddie who really sees it. He thinks he’s expendable. The answer to your question was given at “Buck Begins”. The reason Buck think he’s expendable is the way his parents treated him. He only got their attention when he got hurt which is why he kept doing it. It’s why he’s always so reckless. And I think it’s not a good sign that his relationship with Taylor follows the same pattern. He was finally rewarded with her attention when he put himself in danger yet again. At least now he has Chris to think about too. Maybe that will make him more careful. He’s basically a co-parent. Really happy Bobby and Athena talked it out. They are the best couple! Poor Maddie! She has a rough road ahead of her. The scene with Nia was so heartwarming. I hope we see her again. I swear she’s the cutest kid I’ve ever seen! I can’t wait for you to catch up. You only have the 3 parter. Maybe you can delay lone star for a little bit considering it’s not coming back till January 2022.
I'll get caught up in 9-1-1 first. I think I'm close to getting there and it just makes me more excited about lone star. I feel this season finale it was probably the best one yet and Bucks performance was amazing, I love to see him and the rest of the cast grow. I hope in S5 with buck getting help and being with Taylor he'd be in a better state of mind.
This episode was all about Oliver Stark's wide range of acting skills. He amazingly delivered. I couldn't imagine without Buck/Oliver in the show. I love him.
Buck was so amazing in this episode! I’ve rewatched his scenes so many times. From his terror to do everything possible to save Eddie, to his numb reaction after they get him to the hospital, to shaking when he comes out, to sterling himself to talk to Christopher. Being honest in a way that is age appropriate for him. Then seeing him finally release and break down when he discovers Eddie is going to be OK. No one could get through to him that he shouldn’t put himself in danger because he was convinced he mattered less than everyone else. Bobby was exasperated that he wouldn’t understand it and basically gave up. Then Eddie tells him about the will and it’s probably the one thing that could really sink in with him. That Eddie realizes he’s so important to Christopher that he would choose him as his legal guardian. And the fact that he just automatically stayed with Christopher just shows he really does have that role already. Seeing Christopher comfort Buck also broke me. Seriously, such a good episode. That whole opening scene is so intense!
Bucks performance in 9-1-1 continues to get better and better, I don't know why but I love to see all the emotions Buck is able to show in this episode from him getting mad to him crying. Him crying makes me want to just ball up and cry, it's so good. He definitely out did himself in this episode.
S5 will have your emotions everywhere. It made me mad, sad, happy, anxious. I was all over the place. But Buck crying on the finale was very emotional.
I really like your reactions to 9-1-1 & 9-1-1 Lone Star !! Let me tell you that this episode blew up the hearts of us Buddie fans 😅 That's a family unit 🤞🏽 Something that you didn't touch on much in your review was Bobby and Athena's discussion, which I think was necessary since Bobby always found out about Athena's life decisions after the fact, which I don't think is healthy in a relationship.
Great reaction. I'm amazed by your predictions, like with Eddie's Will and Christopher. And this episode was an emotional rollercoaster for me. Have you thought about starting a Patreon and uploading full length reactions?
Major lethal injuries: s1: chim s2: buck, chim, maddie s3:athena s4:eddie so bobby and hen are in danger now......😂😂 You are three episodes behind and the "beginning disaster" is done now😂😂
🤯🤯I never actually thought about it that way. Each one of them has had a major injury. That an amazing catch. Now I hope the next injuries aren't lethal. 🤞🏼
Margot, who plays as Nia, it was actually her 4th bday when they filmed the little party scene towards the end of the episode. She just turned 5 not that long ago. Aisha & Tracie (Hen and Karen), filmed a little video on their phones singing happy birthday to Margot last year, so she had her bday on set. And Declan (Denny), was very excited to see her. Edit: Jennifer Love Hewitt was actually pregnant too. I remember my 17 yr old cousin getting pregnant and we watched S4 together, & my cousin pointed out that JLH looked “bigger”, and I said “what if she’s not even pregnant, like that’s kinda rude.” And then literally after the finale came out, she announced on Insta that she was pregnant and my cousin was like “told you”. So that’s why I’m S5, JLH wasn’t in it as much. She was on maternity leave and then eventually came back. And my cousins mom found out that JLH actually got hemorrhoids while she was filming the episode of her giving birth to Jee-Yun. So those are some facts. I’m sure I have more, but that’s just some.
Reaction starts at 2:48, this season finale was AMAZING. Can't wait to watch S5

I loved that they included that in this episode. It makes it feel more "real". Plus bucks acting was just perfect 🤩
Buck saving his man and lifting Eddie like he weighed nothing was ❤️
I love how she says "You can't just go see YOUR son like this" everyone always thinks Christopher is Buck's child too 🤌🏽😩
She said you can’t go see “his” son like this, Taylor knows Christopher isn’t bucks child? 😂 I had my subtitles on too so trust me she said “his” not “your” 😅
such a good episode...the scene with buck and christopher was so heartbreaking. i love their relationship
I hope it never comes to it. But seeing Buck raise Christopher is something I would not mind watching. 😁
The opening of this episode was mind blowing.

This exactly! I think Oliver Stark did a really good job with the more emotional scenes this episode!

And it shows you how innocence and youth is so freaking strong and that's what makes Christopher such a amazing young boy
Even if I didn't already love this show, the fact that they used "Season of the witch" for background music would have won me over.
I can't believe I'm getting tears again watching your reaction. I haven't started season 5 yet and I hope they stop hurting the buckley siblings
S5 will have your emotions everywhere. It made me mad, sad, happy, anxious. I was all over the place. But Buck crying on the finale was very emotional.
am i the only one who ship buck and eddie in this comentary section

I'm glad you enjoyed them, I definitely love watching both 9-1-1 series. Plus I love to see the chemistry with Buddie 😂
This was a great finale in my opinion and a relatively hopeful ending too
Albert becoming a firefighter was something I did not expect.
Buck did a quick thinking to save his friend
Great reaction. I'm amazed by your predictions, like with Eddie's Will and Christopher. And this episode was an emotional rollercoaster for me. Have you thought about starting a Patreon and uploading full length reactions?
Yes I am working on getting a patreon account. I created one, just havent uploaded my content. Still working on it 😁
UGH! Loved this episode. That's a good ugh, lol. And loves your reaction! Yeah, I figured he would live, but I was still so so stressed XD
I loved how they ended it with Albert being a firefighter. That, I definitely didn't expect.
The collectibles in back of you are awesome
Love your reaction!
Thank you, I'm really happy you're enjoying them 🙏🏼
That was a heartbreaker for me like there telling Christopher
Major lethal injuries: s1: chim s2: buck, chim, maddie s3:athena s4:eddie so bobby and hen are in danger now......😂😂 You are three episodes behind and the "beginning disaster" is done now😂😂

The captain shot no he doesn't have a vest on no more remember they caught the so-called suspect
In season 5 episode 1-3 the blackout disaster was together
So far I've reacted to S5 Ep 1 and 2. Ep 3 and 4 should be up this week 🤞🏼and I'm excited for Ep 3
@@techish211 your not going to be behind so far
This episode broke me
You and me both 😢
@@techish211 indeed
It's just basically saying that some authority figures are tired of the legal system
Making himself the Target so nobody else gets hurt
That actually probably saved his life but doing that snapping out of it
Athena the badass
I thought it had to do with their last victim that they rescued
A nice way to calm a stupid ass I love you

Make their job harder because it's heavier freaking things on them slow them down
Maddie has too much on het plate, quiting is the best decision she made
