It’s like that in skimboarding too. Trust me go try to skimboarding at 10th street in Laguna or the Newport wedge.

@@charlesmartin1121 it’s not like that in all areas though. I’ve skimmed Cabo and everyone was super nice. Especially in Ventura county. The locals there are super rad! It’s only like that in Laguna Beach and Newport.

@@charlesmartin1121 it’s just difficult to get a opportunity to skim the sider. If you’re not a local there good luck catching one. One time I accidentally got in this kids way in Newport and we almost got into a fist fight smh.

So there was something I saw here that was really different for the beach when you did a back shot of Blair between the two rocks where you could see the town behind him it was below the horizon which was weird because usually above the beach is the lowest spot as rule guess because it is Cabo at the end of Peninsula The drone helped later in the video give perspective later

i wish I could remember where the best spot was down in Los Cabos back in the 80's before all the hotels. We called it Sharks there are big hotel there now. It was between Cabo and SJDC. The water was clear, the sand was perfect, the barrels were barely reachable and no one knew about it. And now it's gone. And at sunset you could sip cold ones and watch the sharks chase mullet up the beach.

Does it matter plastic vs wood skim
Plastic are better but they are quite expensive wood does its job and is cheap but is not as good performance wise
Big time. Carbon Fiber and Epoxy boards like the EXO are wayyy better than wood in all aspects.

Hey, for anyone who knows - what's the concern level of losing your skimboard in these shallow waters? From my understanding, surfers usually have their boards tethered to them - anything similar with skimming?
