For making an Initial Deposit or for paying tuition fees to UK Uni. do we compulsory need to pay through Credit Card ? Or paying thru debit Card is ok ? Or does it differ from Uni to Uni ?
It differs from Uni to Uni; however, most will ask you to use either a credit or debit card. Your bank in India will charge you 3.5% of your deposit amount as an exchange/conversion fee as well. I highly recommend you email the Income Office at your University and ask if a Bank Transfer can be done directly to the University's bank account. The exchange rates are way cheaper with this alternative. With tuition fee payment, ensure you do it in separate installments (check if this is allowed at your Uni) as anything more than 7.5 lakhs will cost you a huge TCS margin.

Hi Vibhor, I had fine experience with Niyo. Having said that, I'm not endorsing the card. It was just a suggestion plus, I said keep a forex card of a reputed bank so that in case of any difficulty with Niyo, others can rely on the 2nd card. I don't know about other youtubers , but I do care about what my viewers get.

For university and visa I paid using my debit card but when I tried for acc to acc transfer it didn’t happen. In future also if any of us need to transfer how are we suppose to do that until we open an UK bank account. 2-3 months we need to open an acc since we have to collect NI card, BRP and house document to get bank acc. Better to know whether any charge is there like inactivity fee. I took Indusind bank forex card 2 years back and due to lockdown I couldn't travel to abroad till now. They taken around 25$ as inactivity fee. No positive respond from bank for refund.

Did you try wire transfer to the account of your owner? You'll need swift code to make the payment and also visit the bank branch.
