Heyyy I did my biometrics on 3rd August and still havent gotten my visa. After doing paid enquiry, it said a decision has been made, but still no update to pick up the passport? To my knowledge, you need by law to take a 2BHK, 1 room dedicated for the baby. You could do all that investment stuff, provided if you are NRI then, there is a procedure to inform your Demat service... like Zerodha etc. Not sure about the OTP and mobile stuff, someone else might be able to help, if they know.
Adding to Pabitra's reply, you can use Indian sim card in the UK to receive OTPs. Keep recharging the sim on a timely basis so that it doesn't get deactivated

Normal Visa's taking longer to get approved. Like 30 days. Email your university about this so they will advise you.

Yes sbi international debit card is expensive as it charges you. Best way is to open the account in UK and make the payment easily

I believe you should travel with new passport. Ek baar UKVI ko detailed email likho and ask how you should proceed.

1.Creating and using UK bank account is always better option than forex. 2. And you must carry min 500 pounds in forex when you arrive in uk
