One thing about free speech that no one ever wants to acknowledge is yes, you can say whatever you want but you should have the decency and respect for others to know when not to say something.
It also should be noted that free speech does not mean the right to say anything you like without there being consequences. It simply means government will not impose consequences on you, but even that comes with caveats as there are some scenarios such as shouting fire in a cinema or bomb on a plane that will result in consequences imposed by government (the law).

As someone who's always despised both Musky and Twitter, I really couldn't be happier with this result. It was always an absolutely terrible site that the media desperately tried to artificially prop up, and were never anywhere near as successful as they liked to pretend. Telegram literally has more active users than Twitter at its peak.

One thing about free speech that no one ever wants to acknowledge is yes, you can say whatever you want but you should have the decency and respect for others to know when not to say something.
It also should be noted that free speech does not mean the right to say anything you like without there being consequences. It simply means government will not impose consequences on you, but even that comes with caveats as there are some scenarios such as shouting fire in a cinema or bomb on a plane that will result in consequences imposed by government (the law).

I don't use Twitter and I don't really know people who do, I think it has a lot less influence than people who frequently use it think it does.
Twitter was the apex of the earned media space for years. Cant tell you how many times my RUclips news shows were just recapping Twitter for the day. Now it’s like a cesspool and doesn’t show you anything useful. Or news. Protests used to show up live.

I made an account years ago and recently signed into it, just to try to deactivate it. It's not locked (at least I don't think it's locked because I was able to still post a link trying to win something) but there's definitely NOT able to be deactivated, because I tried. As someone who's always despised both Musky and Twitter, I really couldn't be happier with this result. It was always an absolutely terrible site that the media desperately tried to artificially prop up, and were never anywhere near as successful as they liked to pretend. Telegram literally has more active users than Twitter at its peak.
