CMC had 2 fumbles in that 3 game losing stretch and in the Cleveland game, purdy lead them down to attempt a game winning fg but rookie kicker missed. As a 49er fan, let me state this. Trent Williams is the most valuable 49er. With him our offensive line is average at best. Without him it's way worse. We have depth at almost every other position but Trent is irreplaceable. All they can say at this point to dis Purdy is what he didn't do when he was missing Trent and Deebo. Now, it's debatable how bad he actually looked vs the Browns and Vikings (no question about the Bengals game being bad) but the real issue is: he isn't missing Trent and Deebo now. I honestly think it's hilarious watching the hoops some of these guys jump thru to discredit Purdy. Dude has literally had the best start to an NFL career that any QB has ever had. I see no reason why he won't continue to ball out like this.
As a fellow 9er fan I disagree... because with Trent in the NFCCG... NOTHING could happen. CMC was healthy... without a threat to pass... the run is stopped period. Having to respect the pass... opens up the offense. Purdy played well in the 2 full games Trent was gone. The run was stopped in those games tho. CMC looks like a completely different player. Brock still looked the same... just had 2 bad ints in both games. I think those were learning experiences. You learn from failure... success not so much. Those failures made Brock more dangerous that he already was

Purdy basically didn’t have Deebo the first time they played the Cardinals and Purdy threw 20/21 with a 134.6 passer rating. Deebo didn’t have a single target or reception. Why is that never mentioned?

During those 2 game losses the DEFENSE wasn't playing well as well so lets keep that in mind.

CMC had 2 fumbles in that 3 game losing stretch and in the Cleveland game, purdy lead them down to attempt a game winning fg but rookie kicker missed. In the vikings game, he was having a really good game to start, but he got concussed and he threw 2 back to back picks. The Cincinnati game was the only bad game he had where the defense couldn't get stops and purdy didnt have that many possessions to counter the Bengals offense. He was also concussed the second half of the Vikings game . Before the concussion, he was having a good game. The only bad game he had was against the Bengals and I don’t think he was as bad as people were portraying. Dak has had bad games, but you can’t deny he’s played some of the best ball of his career. He’s also doing it with less talent on the roster than the 49ers have. People want to bring up that all Dallas has done is beaten terrible teams, then why aren’t these other good teams winning by large margins like the Cowboys? Eagles barely beat the Commanders twice. As a 49er fan, let me state this. Trent Williams is the most valuable 49er. With him our offensive line is average at best. Without him it's way worse. We have depth at almost every other position but Trent is irreplaceable. All they can say at this point to dis Purdy is what he didn't do when he was missing Trent and Deebo. Now, it's debatable how bad he actually looked vs the Browns and Vikings (no question about the Bengals game being bad) but the real issue is: he isn't missing Trent and Deebo now. I honestly think it's hilarious watching the hoops some of these guys jump thru to discredit Purdy. Dude has literally had the best start to an NFL career that any QB has ever had. I see no reason why he won't continue to ball out like this.
As a fellow 9er fan I disagree... because with Trent in the NFCCG... NOTHING could happen. CMC was healthy... without a threat to pass... the run is stopped period. Having to respect the pass... opens up the offense. Purdy played well in the 2 full games Trent was gone. The run was stopped in those games tho. CMC looks like a completely different player. Brock still looked the same... just had 2 bad ints in both games. I think those were learning experiences. You learn from failure... success not so much. Those failures made Brock more dangerous that he already was

The 3 game losing streak was not on Purdy. He led them on a drive against the browns and Moody missed the kick. Then he played the next two with a concussion and I’m guessing if your processing speed is your most lethal weapon, a concussion does not help you to read defenses any quicker. Plus, the defense couldn’t buy a stop against Burrow or Cousins for stretches of each games.
Purdy basically didn’t have Deebo the first time they played the Cardinals and Purdy threw 20/21 with a 134.6 passer rating. Deebo didn’t have a single target or reception. Why is that never mentioned?
