I hope this clears up all the questions on doing a relief fill. *Thanks for watching!*
Can you use the docking function when using kerf offset and docking for example on a tab?
Thank you so much for these instructions. After the first 2.5 minutes I was able to correct the cut of an ornament I received that didn't go right! Thanks again!
Wonderful!
Still use this technique based on your previous instruction. You are a workhorse really cranking these videos out. You have my Respect brother.
Thanks Rob! You're doing a great job as well!
Another great tutorial. Removing overlapping cut lines saves me tremendous time. Thank you Rich.
Very welcome Gilbert!
OMG This morning I was just trying to do this and didn’t know how to ask, now I know I just wish I knew about it about 5 hrs ago 😂 love your videos!!!

Thanks as always Rich!
Thanks for watching Terry!
A good example would be puzzles.
Anytime you have multiple cut shapes. Just dock them.
I just order a Hat thanks for what you do
Awesome! 👍 Thanks so much!
Hey Rich, would this be a way to design stamps ?
I didn't think you made short videos. 😃
Thank you for sharing all of the tips in lightburn. Greg
Yes Greg, it is how I made the stamps.
If the kerf offset value in the cut settings editor is not zero removing overlapping cut lines does not work. Look preview and zoom in. I have no solution for this problem. Thanks for inspiring me!
That is correct. You cannot use a kerf offset when removing overlapping lines.
You mentioned using all the other layers for different shades of gray. Could you explain what you meant. Thanks
Exactly that. Different speeds and powers produce different shades of gray.
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy Thanks for the reply. Maybe one day you can do a video of a use case of that technique.
I have multiple cuts where i can use the duplicate line idea
Awesome! 👍 Thanks for watching!
Great video as always. I am in your FB group. I want to know if you have made any video making a coin ? I am a visual person
I made a video on making a wooden coin: ruclips.net/video/hCLEQEAjMw4/видео.html
This has nothing to do with this video but i figured you'd likely see my comment here first. I know you did a video on kerf and i understand kerf if you are using one shape to fit inside of another. But i don't understand how to account for kerf when you have multiple different shapes inside one shape. For example, if you have a square and you fill the square with circles, triangle, hexagons.... and they all overlap with them being different colors. Like 2 circles, 1 blue and 1 yellow, and the overlap is green. I've never seen anyone explain this. Look up RUclips channel, Mindflower. See shows herself putting it together but doesn't show the process.
Kerf is kerf, no matter how many shapes there are.
