TV Haters have a point, just one point. It disrupts the pacing between combat. But remove TV mode and then you get a linear hack and slash where all you do is watch cutscenes between fights, leaving you no chance to immerse in the storytelling and/or atmosphere. It can be further optimized, but I would hate for them to remove it. There’d be a lot of problems of that happened.
I think I know why a lot of people hate the tv mode , It's because of chapter 1 and 2 the tv mode in those is too long and boring as hell not to mention you get constantly interrupted , It also made me hate the mode too until I played chapter 3 and some other exploration missions and saw what the tv mode can be that I fell in love with it
I will admit the tv mode during chapter 1 and 2 was mediocre at best and the pacing wasn't well thought out but after that the experience I derived from it was really enjoyable
Well... the rare time that the oddball small video was worth the click. But in addition I'd super duper draw more attention to the way the story itself is delivered - it does not feel like a gacha, which are frankly generally bloated and poorly presented. It's well paced, it's presentation is FILLED with cutscenes FAR FAR FAR more than any other hoyo game atm. And frankly the comics, which are SUPERBLY drawn, are a surpreme way to deliver exposition (compare them... to Genshins standing in one spot and talking, even HSR is guilty of this)
That's true it just irked me a lot that they could've learned from their mistakes but at least 1.2 story was a step in the right direction. It wasn't anything amazing but it was better than the past few chapters we've had. I hope its only an upward climb from here on forward.
@@cipherrei I love the story presentation in ZZZ. It's not overwrought, it doesn't overload the player with impending apocalypse or sky-beams, and it's very grounded in the scale and the tone of the game. Too many games (and movies) think that shoving an end of the world scenario into the face of gamers is how you get them invested, but it's the complete opposite. You have to care about the characters and the world they live in first, which ZZZ does beautifully with its slice of life feel and character moments. I love the vibe of Post-Apocalypse 'n Chill that the game has; it's been 10(?) years since the Fall of Old Eridu, and people have regained a sense of normalcy, even if the wounds haven't fully healed. It's no accident that the game starts with a zany Cunning Hares caper _in media res_ but then immediately transitions to a slice of life feel with Belle and Wise running errands, getting scratch cards, petting cats, etc. The de-escalation from combat and Hollows really builds a sense of comfort and familiarity with the world, and it gets you invested without even realizing it.
@@cipherreibro whitering garden at 11 intensity is not that hard 😭 Hell if you build your Jane Doe correctly you can no diff a good 70% of Shiryu defense too...
@@shazuzrqt7985 Okay, I'm interested in this. I've yet to clear Intensity 11 even though all of my DPS is 60. What Resonia combo did you use with your Jane team? I'll use that as reference and eke out an Intensity 11 clear.
@@PureLunari go absolutely insane with onslaught resonia until you at least get circular saw (8 onslaught resonia combined) If you have the chance, get shuttlecock too, it makes fighting Nineveh so much easier because you're basically invincible during slowed time Then, you want to get an artificiate resonium, burning rose to be exact to increase physical anomaly damage to 60% after 2 combats, which will nerf your anomaly buildup by 80%, you'll be nerfed for the next two combats but you can do it as long as you don't fight any absurd enemy like a gatekeeper boss, after it's purified you're basically doing 1 million damage for every assault, and finally, but this is optional, get [onslaught] gardening shears for 40% assault damage, and if you can, catalyze at a shop to get 60% assault damage, after you got all the resonia, you just need to avoid getting corrupted and Nineveh is ez I'm willing to help more if you have a discord ofc...
@@shazuzrqt7985 What about secondary options in case I don't get Onslaught? Dodge should be great, right? Do you think the new Resonia set Tenacity is also good? TBH, the fight will become more of a skill issue for me because I usually block with my face. I also hate the part where Nineveh rains down projectiles at you while tentacles spawn. Do you really need to kill all of them to end it early?
I came for Jane Doe and stayed for the interesting story and characters 😂 it's pretty common for the gacha community to go crazy when they see a new female character releasing, they go monkey mode which brings even more attention... it's kinda brilliant because I wouldn't even know this game exists if people didn't start thirsting hard for Rat Girl
I tried ZZZ - my first gacha game - because of her too. Well, her and that thicc police gal I was late for. Spent all my tapes and polychromes to get Jane with no luck though, what a pain.
First time playing a hoyo game and already lvl 55.... Actually enjoyed the TV mode(except for a few extremely boring ones) Btw the ambient song for the new area is goated The montage at the end was insane
After doing Withering Garden Blitz Mode multiple times, yeah, I need my TV Mode. Runs may be shorter there but man... it feels tiring and more tedious than regular Holow Zero run. I'll just be doing it in TV version at this point.
You play a fighting game where most of the gameplay is FIGHTING but you get overwhelmed by it? C'mon. Y'all make no sense. The tv stuff is mostly a 1 and done thing everything else is just fighting.
Love TV mode. Zenless is a fresh breath of air. You're the proxy. Tv mode is you helping thr agents nagivate the hollows. Its like a mix of Cyber sleuth, xenoblade, and some of splatoons gear randomizing. Have a seperate mode called baby mode for thr tv haters. Just like GW2 has in their april fools event
I like the TV mode, because it's something new and it's in line with the vibe of the game. Removing that would cost a really unique aspect of the game. Oh and i agree that the music is top notch, Caesar's demo trailer what got me back.
Its what I believe makes zzz unique a lot of the times. Having an explorable environment like Persona 5 did as a dungeon crawl would probably take too much time and effort.
The sole reason i started playing ZZZ is because of Jane Doe. Surprisingly, now, Im more attached with the fluidity of the combat and how impactful it feels to a point where fighting feels like rhythmic to me. I was expecting to be disappointed by the amount of goon, but was charmed by how intricate and soulful the entire game feels. New Eridu is lively, its interactive, its alive :) Jane Doe is a genius marketing strat fr
Yeah New Eridu is just packed with so many details that I unfortunately couldn't cover in my vid. Its just so detailed and well crafted that I just gotta hand it to them. God I love this game.
@@nicolelouise7295yet exactly the same case and feeling as I, so surely many, MANY others. Tell us all you have no understanding of human emotions and reasoning without telling us directly😅
I'm one of those people who enjoys TV in story mode. To be honest, I understand the point of the people that it disrupts the immersion from the story. Other than that there's no more. Now that they remove it, a new problem occurs. The pacing for me was fast, sometimes I can't catch up with the dialogue. Having combat while the character is talking distracts me. I hope they muffle the combat fx while the character is doing their lines.
yeah chapter 4's pacing was incredibly fast that I couldn't make out half of what the characters were saying during combat. I think muffling fighting sounds while a character is talking is the way to go.
It actually caused a different problem for me when I was doing Ch. 4. Knowing that they would speak while progressing through the stage, it's causing me to STOP in one place so that I don't miss a conversation between the characters. It's like nothing has changed for me!
And we keep seeing such big improvements from one patch to the next. I need to remind you, they're updating every 6 weeks. These devs are working hard.
_ZZZ_ combat system is slightly expanded from _HI3_ 's, which has Quick-Time Entry mechanics instead of assist-switches, and only some modes (APHO Ch 2) or battlesuits (from Part 2) have the Astral Ring System, which is like another level to the Ultimate / Burst System. Each battlesuit also plays differently, which makes sense since it's a gacha game, so you want to make as many things as different and unique as possible so people will be more willing to spend money to get it. This does include, on occasion, creating new gear sets for older battlesuits to bring them into the meta. This has happened with three different Herrschers (Thunder, Reason, and Sentience) as well as with 'Bright Knight: Excelsis,' giving her the _Abyss Flower_ Divine Key weapon instead of the default _Hler's Serenity_ . In the upcoming version, Kiana's Herrscher of Finality battlesuit is getting her own Divine Key tune-up, which will also give her the Astral Ring System despite being a Part 1 battlesuit. _HI3_ has also shown near-constant changes over its life, like putting in new weapon types, and making stigmata (artifacts) for Part 2 battlesuits forgeable as well as being able to get them from the gacha alongside the weapon. One of the first new weapons included was bows, with Fischl being the first to use them, although it was really for Elysia and Raven. Then in Part 2 they went wild by introducing drive cores, rocket hammers, rapid-fire crossbows, and chain-blades. And of course, the more recent the battlesuit is, the crazier the skills tend to get. The first S-ranks like Knight Moonbeam and Lightning Empress have nothing on Songque's or Sleepy Theresa's battlesuits, and the upcoming Vita battlesuit will summon a gundam. I'd love to see changes applied throughout to _Genshin_ to continually improve that game too, especially with weapon types, but there've already been opportunities to do this that've been passed over, like adding gauntlets for Heizhou, or guns for around half the characters from Fontaine. Maybe in the future, though, now that Dawei's in charge? Anyway, _ZZZ_ is very fast and smooth, and I love it. The team is trying to keep it more grounded and lower-stakes than the other games from Mihoyo, so the biggest stakes are trying to gain control of the Hollows, I believe. Oh yeah, and the team managing the game? Completely new. Including the producer. They hit the ground running on this thing! And Hoyo-Mix _never_ misses on the music.
Brilliant editing! You poured your heart and soul into this video! ZZZ is my favorite game in the past 5 years, and coming hot on the tails of BG3, Elden Ring, Armored Core 6, RDR2 (PC), that's almost crazy talk, but that's genuinely how much the devs have impressed me and pulled me in to their goofy, stylish, heartwarming world. It's even crazier that this is the studio's first game (despite being published by hoyo), but that also explains why the devs are so passionate about their game.
Them removing the tv system in the latest chapters is so shit, imagine how much more story telling they could have done if they have those. But nah, people only want braindead button smashing then skip story 😂
i do agree that removing the tv system for the main story wasn't the best decision, but i do agree that the tv system should be reduced or even removed on other game mode. because after going through it the first time, it's just a chore. so them having a removed system mode for hollow zero is great. it's never that in the main story though, you only need to go through it once, they add more mechanics, and it's a pretty good story telling tool. i much prefer seeing characters move in the tv than the splitscreen yap fest
I think the voice acting is much better here because the game clearly has made New Eridu a mix of Chinese and US culture with the Japanese city planning system. The English voice acting had to be on point so that the world feels well made
Yeah I'm really glad the zzz va director decided to keep it close to normal talking. There are some weird high pitched cringy voices here and there (Nicole lmao) but overall its fairly really good.
@@cipherrei and the grammar mistake of using the word "rizz" which just wasn't used correctly, nor should've been used at all really because it's the type of slang that moves to fast like the word "yeet" which is barely used anymore
Bro, what an amazing Video, I rarely ever type any comments cuz I never see the point to, but for a Video edited, directed and planned, that good, is just amazing. The shock to learn that you only have a small subscriber countwas massive, this is not glazing, just sheer admiration for the work of art you produce. Keep up the good work man!
ZZZ combat is really addictive. Very smooth, very cinematic, very responsive, rewarding. Story's good, character design is solid, interactions with agents also feels just right. Playing from day 1, not bored at all, unlike Genshin, which I dropped pretty quickly, then returned for updates, then dropped again.
ZZZ has amazing combat and great character design, as well as more forgiving banner system for weapons, standard characters and bangboos. Only thing that makes me like Genshin more is when I run out of at ch on quests and story content, I could always wander around the overworld and passively farm materials when I don’t have resin. I know it’s still early in the game, but there’s not much to do in game once your battery charge is gone.
Definitely feel like the TV mode is necessary. Its supposed to be intermissions from the very fast paced over the top gameplay. Believe when i say i was able to finish a chapter of story in a day but struggled to finish up shiyu defense missions after 10 minutes because i genuinely felt super overwhelmed. A good reminder to just not fucking binge a game too. Literally just take it easy and breathe a lil ye gads man. Its also a really good way to hear the characters speak during the downtime, what theyre feeling during those in betweens from fights. Trust when i say you will not be focusing on dialogue in the middle of HIGH OCTANE FIGHTS. Also its just a really good way to weave in Phaetons existence as proxies. Who are literally very important to the story.
The game is filled with TVs and Domain exploration, as well as open world for the proxy to explore. Thats the issue, there isn’t much inside the domains other than enemies and easy puzzles. If you want open world exploration, then go to Genshin. To ask the devs to massively expand Domain levels is a pretty sizable ask, therefore you’re gonna have to be really patient.
Come Alive featuring the lead singer from Normandie (Philip Strand) is a certified hood classic. I also have to thank it for getting me into Normandie, cause holy shit I have been obsessed with them ever since😅😅
Personally I think TV mode is good, Its more of when zzz was released TV mode was abnoxiosly clunky compared to today every single mechanic will be taught to you repeatedly instead of giving you hints and letting you figure stuff out like in the first event when the game just came out the exploration hollow where the belobog industry had to teach you how to move a block to a button i din't need to know that, because i already knew that, And just how slow the dialogues were (you werent able to fast forward). That first update solved many of these problems thankfully(My thoughts after that update was that it was really good and mostly fixed), the entire start probably lead to many people disliking TV mode leading to A massive dislike feedback being sent to the developers leading to them taking a drastic mesurement of removing it all together from the main story.
It's a shame you probably made almost all of this video before chapter 4 came out because I think it was the best one so far and would fit in all 3 categories as a good example lol
I’m sad that the people complaining about “TV mode” ended up getting their way and the current chapter had no hollow exploration content at all besides two quick missions. really hoping this was just a one time thing and they don’t abandon exploration missions
Man, the amount of time I heard Neneva's OST is absurd, I think it might be giving me PTSD at this point, I have run Withering Garden Level 11 for so many times and failed cause my hp is literally 1% when I entered. (I've managed to do it for 2hrs and I'm convincing myself that it's worth lmao)
Man that 8:12 and 13:43 TV edit were BANGERS, ZZZ devs need to steal this idea in some of those story or main story where we watch vision corpos news from old TV and entry thats shit is on point and feels mashing up together with ZZZ vibes
Zenless is the first high production piece of media I'm aware of that is unapologetically nostalgic for the early 2000's and as an "elder gen z" I can't help but appreciate it for that.
great stuff, happy to see you mention how integral good music is to the game's style and identity. helps that it slaps but sound design goes above and beyond with making this game satisfying
People generally talk about the gameplay, visuals and story most of the time but completely forget to mention how important music is in elevating a scenario in a lot of games. Its why I always try to talk about it whenever I have the chance to do so.
The only time I did not care about the TV gameplay was the bangboo pokemkn reference and the detective side mission that was just way too much reading for a side mission. Those 2 drained me. The rest just felt like tutorials but no pay off. If they were an indie developer then you could even do some creepypasta levels of cryptic content with the TV mode. Hollow zero kinda tackles that with the vocie recordings but I wish theh would go further with those random chance ocurrences to dive deep into the lore of this world. I gotta say the latest addition of cheesetopia as a way to hang atound the new agents and get more interactions with them outside of main story and friendship missions has been my favorite feature so far. And the newest arcade game in godfinger is quite addicting I forgot I was in Zenless. I think this game will improve quite a lot moving forward and I look forward to it. If they get better with the tv system and keep rolling compelling stories with fun bosses like they have so far, this game has a long future ahead. Nah who am I kidding. It's all about teh waifu booty gacha TM boyyyyy give me burnice already just pulled Caesar 🔥🔥🔥
I would say, they really care about the world and want to create an experience the world is immersive. Npc to the character and the MC all blends in the world. YES it does sacrifice some of the visuals on some char bsc they need to wear uniform etc (hope they create costume sooner or later) but it made the world nice. That is my main thing the combat yea..its nice not hard at all but not too easy late game its nice. Dailies is simple the shortest to collect everything. Thou its my preference I love the world and Character that is done well. Not just a tool for the mc to move forward. This game make every char have their own set of life and thing they aspire to be just for the plot their goal align. Best game for me. People may say its gooner (in trailers yes), boring baby game, etc etc not stream worthy but its my best game to date. I plan from FGO to onmiyoji, Nikke, GI, HSR, Wuwa, epic seven but out of all this ZZZ seem the same but also different. I love it so much
@@josephwong5859the thing is, the game does give you those glimpses of how difficult it can potentially be. Take the new difficulty multipliers for Hollow zero, adding unique debuffs like not being able to see the parry alerts from elite enemies, or the new permanent Shuyu defence, that is genuinely the hardest shit I've had to attempt since the last time they made an addition to Shuyu defence. Game gives you the option to attempt the challenges at any time, not locked behind any daily energy, and you don't miss out on rewards for not rushing that content, and I truly love that.
@@josephwong5859if you think it’s easy, you clearly haven’t reached the further parts of the end game. Enemies jump to level 70 and they will hurt you.
Ive been feeling like this has been there magnum opus of games so far. They've really been taking all that they learned from the previous games they made and made something truly great here
Amazing video, good content 👍 It is a shame you didn't had access to the lore drop at the end of the 1.2 main quest line, it was a wonderful deviation from a "mid" history, some people even got emotional
Yeah that was really unfortunate although I really was planning on uploading this when ZZZ 1.2 update comes out. Just that they decided 1.2 was the best time to drop a lore bomb like wtf
Honestly the TV is one of the reasons I stay. Yeah it kinda takes me out of the action a bit but I don't know it's like giving me room to breathe before I go in again
@@cipherrei Genshin's music is insane as well. Hustle and Bustle of Port Ormos might be one of my favorite songs ever. Also Genshin definitely suffered from being a gacha. It could have been so good.
Also yes, the music is why I stayed! Playing the Ballet Twins part witgout cintext was the must pleasant surprise ever and I still gk back to that part just to listen to the whole segment witb the banger music.
This is my first hoyoverse game, and I gotta say, it was worth playing. What drew me in to even trying it in the first place was the expressive animation. I usually don’t play gacha games, but I will be following zzz for the foreseeable future.
if you like the music in ZZZ go find some of the absolute bangers in hi3, Elysia herrscher of origin vs raiden herrscher of thunder all 3 phases is one i always love
A lot of people will argue against TV mode, saying it was never advertised and isn’t a selling point of the game. And if you were keeping an eye on the game for years before its release, then sure. Totally get that. But there are some of us who, like me, had never heard of the game before it came out and weren’t up on what they were advertising. I discovered the game through a review that I watched about 4 days after release. One of the things the reviewer praised about the game was the monitor array, and how interesting and varied and creative it was. I thought that looked really cool, and I downloaded the game that night and have played literally every day since then. The TV mode actually WAS a main selling point for me. Edit: Oh yeah, on a different note, the English localization of this game is… sadly pretty terrible. The English voice acting however, is shockingly good IMO.
note: "on par" means up to standard, or 'normal'. The phrase "on par *with*" is used to express that the quality of something is similar to another thing, usually compared to a great thing to express how high quality it is, but sometimes to a bad thing to express how low quality it is. Saying "on par" as a stand alone phrase doesn't make sense in the context of what "on par" means.
I really feel a difference in the aesthetic of this game especially the arts, event, story and even the ad banner outside the store of sixth street, they all show a very unique design and a tons of differents art style
It's been 3 months now? I still feel like a god whenever I unleash Soldier 11's ult.... They really cooked with the combat in this game. It's satisfying, almost scarily so.
I think with 1.2, things are changing to the better in terms of story, as well as gameplay (the new characters are crazy) Also more music tracks are here
I trust the devs that they won't fumble the game with their decisions. I love tv mode but imo during story quests I prefer cutscenes over Tv mode. Tv mode is hella fun but when I want to get invested in someone's story then I can live without it.
I only hate the tv sections of the game because of the CONSTANT interruptions with dialogue or tutorializing. Its the only part of the game that got old to me before the first chapter ended. I love everything else about the game but I usually do dread the tv sections. Now when I'm not being stopped every 5 seconds, I do enjoy the novelty of them. Overall it is the weakest point to me and something I would give a 7/10. Which isn't even that bad considering the rest of the games aspects sit around a 8.5-9.5/10.
Come Alive is BASICALLY ZZZ's BURY THE LIGHT. AND YOU KNOW IT F**KING SOUNDS AMAZING AND FANTASTIC!!!!! (Also Ellen Joe's Character Demo Music IS SO AMAZING TOO!!! I literally listen to it when I am driving in my car getting food lol)
I'm fine with the TV mode in places like Hollow Zero or side quests but chapter 4 had the best story telling in ZZZ to date specifically because it told it with the comic panels, cutscenes and actual 3D models instead of PNGs on a TV board game.
This is just false on a pure writing perspective. The pacing of Chapter 4 was by far the most sloppy it has ever been. There's too many loose ends, the exposition for closure was non-existent, scenes either end too abruptly or too fast and overall, you're never given a place to stop and breathe. Characterization was an all time low too due to how quick the story was going and the banters were inaudible because it's glued in the middle of combat. Overall, the writers have absolutely zero control of the pacing and that really hurt the story. And don't get me wrong, I loved the story for what it is. But me loving it does not mean I should ignore all the glaring flaws that exist in this chapter. If anything, the only thing that saved this chapter was the Final act and the epilogue. If they displayed the same sloppy execution there as they did in the first 70% of the story, it would have actually ruined the story in the long run. And the root cause of all of this? The lack of TV mode. TV provided exactly the things I mentioned above. TV gave both space and downtime for the story to pace itself out. You can listen to banters and Fairy and Phaeton can even butt in without feeling like they're taking a backseat like they did in Chapter 4. And the things that people complained about TV weren't even that hard to fix. In fact, if you boot out an HZ run right now, you'd find most of the "transition" issues fixed.
@@Law-of-EnTropy Idk what to tell you you're just wrong. Chapter 4 had the most developed story and characters out of any chapter. No other character other than maybe Koleda comes close to the amount of depth and character development we got with Caesar, Lucy and even Lighter. What are Anby's motivations? What are Billy's motivations? What are Nicole's motivations? (Other than money for literally unexplained reasons) Lycaon? Rina? Ellen? Anton? Caesar's motivations? Super easy to understand. She even goes through a character arc where she realizes being a leader means more than just being strong. Even Lucy and Lighter got more character development (as sparse as it was for Lighter) than almost anyone outside of Koleda. I'm literally a writer, and from a "writing perspective" this chapter had the best character and plot writing outside of Belobog's story and Belobog's story only really got good at the very end, there was ALOT of pointless meandering and filler content, especially in the TVs. From a pacing point of view, it was far better than the TV mode, although it was rushed at times. You can tell they had to pivot and struggled to adapt the story they had planned from TV mode gameplay to actual 3D models and maps. But I don't think it's fair to compare TV mode they had 4+ years to develop to this new method of gameplay and storytelling they had literally like a month or two to work on. And even with that little timeframe, it's vastly superior to 90% of the TV mode story telling. (some of the TV stuff was good, and like I said I like the gameplay of the TV mode but I think it's not a very good way to tell the story) I think this new way of storytelling shows alot of promise, and once they have some time to flesh it out I think the 1.4 story will really shine now that they've got their feet under them with this pivot in a new direction.
@@veldinsparx I get what you say but calling out characters who obviously has more story beats coming in later patches have no developments is unfair. Tour de Inferno and Belobog is practically a one-off story where the build up in the intro gets its payoff in the ending, maybe we get a bit more later on to tie into main story, but for what its worth, they reached their personal/team goals. Meanwhile the story about cunning hares and victoria housekeeping is still building as part of the main story. I think TV mode was an adequate way to tell stories. How are we supposed to replicate the darkness in Ballet Twins in battle mode without it being infuriating to navigate? I agree that pacing was THE problem for TV mode, but if I had to trade that for monotony of fetch quests, I'd bring TV back in a heartbeat.
@@veldinsparx TO be fair to the Cunning hares; they seem far from done in the story. Most likely the narrative will further develop their character arcs. Possibly when Anby and Solider 11 come into conflict with one another, seeing as it is setting pretty apparent parallels between them (even more so if the leaks from the narrative are to be believed). If anything the plot with dead end butchers was to develop nekomata, which was done pretty well, I actually think the TVs hindered this story telling there especially since the pacing was very start and stop. So I think it's intentionally made them stagnant outside neko herself. I do agree with your statement I just think the Cunning hares will be set up more in the future. Or could be my wishful thinking.
@@lancelot2099 I feel that as well, they've dropped some nice set up flags for Billy in this latest chapter, I definitely feel like we'll be seeing alot more of him at some point in the future. And same for Anby, she's just TOO much of a mystery for them not to do something with her, like we literally know nothing about her. It's just for right now where we are in the story, chapter 4 had the most fleshed out characters :3
One note: The drive disk system is maybe not to everyones liking but its the best implementation of that system in all gacha games to date. I like it! No variation on the stats is massive, you just need to get the rolls you need but crafting discs is also so easy in ZZZ, getting a full, new set for a character is a breeze in this game.
I love TV mode because it's probably the most unique take on zone exploration I could imagine. I will take it over open world shlock any day. But, this is also the only game I've ever played where I've said "I hope they make this into a minigame". Normally, mimigames feel tacked on and lame, but in here, it's such a nice change of pace from the mind-melting action. After a really long boss fight that sucks the goddamn life out of me, it's nice to go mess around the TV verse, manage the video store, walk along the streets to get my coffee and scratch cards, hit the arcade, manage a spoiler in chapter 4. It keeps it fresh. I'm glad not EVERY MINIGAME is even for progression, it's literally just for fun.
There's an extra space in the title and I'm not gonna change it.
Anyways~

Glad you highlighted Ninevehs music, its is my favourite track in the game
Same, its really good and I'm glad they made it so that casual players can experience it as well

@@PureLunari go absolutely insane with onslaught resonia until you at least get circular saw (8 onslaught resonia combined)

The music is so good they actually performed a set at an EDM festival AND ITS ACTUALLY SO FUCKING GOOD
I came for Jane Doe and stayed for the interesting story and characters 😂
it's pretty common for the gacha community to go crazy when they see a new female character releasing, they go monkey mode which brings even more attention... it's kinda brilliant because I wouldn't even know this game exists if people didn't start thirsting hard for Rat Girl
The Rat ASMR awoke something in a lot of folks. I'm scared of their potential.
I tried ZZZ - my first gacha game - because of her too. Well, her and that thicc police gal I was late for. Spent all my tapes and polychromes to get Jane with no luck though, what a pain.
First time playing a hoyo game and already lvl 55....
Actually enjoyed the TV mode(except for a few extremely boring ones)
Btw the ambient song for the new area is goated
The montage at the end was insane
I like the tv cause it brings a pause to combat, the combat is too flashy, i need that break in between to not be overwhelmed
Yeah it really helps otherwise my brain just gets fried from all the fighting that I have to do
If they combine what theh changed with the new patch with the TV and the new QOL features, they got a good recipe
After doing Withering Garden Blitz Mode multiple times, yeah, I need my TV Mode. Runs may be shorter there but man... it feels tiring and more tedious than regular Holow Zero run. I'll just be doing it in TV version at this point.

idk why rina's character demo music activated all of my neurons so hard. when she activated her ult and the vocals humming to the melody
0:13 Hello? Is no one going to talk about the insanely cool intro? Aight then I will
Hell yeah dude! that intro is damn badass! 😎💯
You started playing bc of Jane but didn't like the supposed "goon", those are some contradictory statements
@@nicolelouise7295yet exactly the same case and feeling as I, so surely many, MANY others. Tell us all you have no understanding of human emotions and reasoning without telling us directly😅
You like Jane but dislike the "goon". She is the single most goon bait character in the game lmao.
Hopefully its an upward climb from here
_ZZZ_ combat system is slightly expanded from _HI3_ 's, which has Quick-Time Entry mechanics instead of assist-switches, and only some modes (APHO Ch 2) or battlesuits (from Part 2) have the Astral Ring System, which is like another level to the Ultimate / Burst System.
Endless construction day 🎚️📈🎵📈🎵📈🎵

19:48 Perfectly sums up why I love ZZZ and this is my first ever Gacha game. It feels special to me
Brilliant editing!
Yeah the goofiness of the overall story is pretty nice especially since the story feels really grounded.
Them removing the tv system in the latest chapters is so shit, imagine how much more story telling they could have done if they have those. But nah, people only want braindead button smashing then skip story 😂
Then they complain that there isn't enough content lmao its crazy smh
i do agree that removing the tv system for the main story wasn't the best decision, but i do agree that the tv system should be reduced or even removed on other game mode. because after going through it the first time, it's just a chore. so them having a removed system mode for hollow zero is great. it's never that in the main story though, you only need to go through it once, they add more mechanics, and it's a pretty good story telling tool. i much prefer seeing characters move in the tv than the splitscreen yap fest
For real
Speaking of music, the new boss' fight theme is a banger, and they didn't have to go this hard
Its a banger man. It really upped the hype in that fight.

I love the music in game especially in the new chapter.
I really loved it too. My favorite was the somber music when they visited the chasm memorial
@@cipherreiloved that scene so much made it my ps5 wallpaper and the song was the cherry on top

TV mode is fine and all... until you're on your billionth Hollow Zero mission and just want to get to the end ASAP.
I also have to thank it for getting me into Normandie, cause holy shit I have been obsessed with them ever since😅😅
The dude has a great voice been obsessed with him too ever since I heard come alive

Good to see some real appreciation for the TV system. Highly underrated. The music and animation are indeed top tier.
i dont really like some of the tv segments but there is some of them that really really shine. I like it when they make them unique.
It's a shame tbh but I'm glad they improved on the story nonetheless
I’m sad that the people complaining about “TV mode” ended up getting their way and the current chapter had no hollow exploration content at all besides two quick missions. really hoping this was just a one time thing and they don’t abandon exploration missions
Man, the amount of time I heard Neneva's OST is absurd, I think it might be giving me PTSD at this point, I have run Withering Garden Level 11 for so many times and failed cause my hp is literally 1% when I entered. (I've managed to do it for 2hrs and I'm convincing myself that it's worth lmao)
Oh trust me its pretty brutal best thing you can do is try your hardest to have 0 corruptions before you reach nineveh.
When i saw they put the time and effort just creating the NPC i knew this Game was different
Nicole's character video OST is my drug lol
Excellent editing and excellent meme selection. Keep doing what you're doing.
I don't think theres a gacha game more passionate than zzz. Ill stand by that until I die

Can you direct me as to which part of the video I used the phrase? Apologies if it sounds out of place, english isn't my first language.

Been a religious watcher of ur projmoon vidz and I absolutely adore ur other videos as well! Keep up the work these are all very fun to watch ^^
That intro from 0:15 to 0:41 is so good
I'm fine with the TV mode in places like Hollow Zero or side quests but chapter 4 had the best story telling in ZZZ to date specifically because it told it with the comic panels, cutscenes and actual 3D models instead of PNGs on a TV board game.
(some of the TV stuff was good, and like I said I like the gameplay of the TV mode but I think it's not a very good way to tell the story)
I think this new way of storytelling shows alot of promise, and once they have some time to flesh it out I think the 1.4 story will really shine now that they've got their feet under them with this pivot in a new direction.

TO be fair to the Cunning hares; they seem far from done in the story.
This Video Is INCREDIBLE. ❤
God some of the ZZZ eng voice acting is so refreshing, only 90% of the VA's have the direction to put 80% of thier breath into one sentence!
Okay but what did genshin do to you 😭
It took everything from me.....
One note: The drive disk system is maybe not to everyones liking but its the best implementation of that system in all gacha games to date. I like it! No variation on the stats is massive, you just need to get the rolls you need but crafting discs is also so easy in ZZZ, getting a full, new set for a character is a breeze in this game.
dude nice video! cant believe that this has no views. definitely earned a sub
(also first :> )
I love TV mode because it's probably the most unique take on zone exploration I could imagine.
