Corned beef and onion sarnies are my hill favourite and generally followed with wee Melton Mowbray pork pies cut in half with brown sauce in the middle then wrapped in foil.

I've been 4 times so far, it's a long journey from one end of the country up to the other but ohhhh so well worth it,I loved every second.. even spending 10 days camping when it rained every day lol.. the views are totally awesome.. Had a day like that when we went over to Loch A'an in the Cairngorms. Total pea-souper heading up to the Coire Cas car park. Within a few hundred metres we were above the inversion and had crystal clear skies all day. Did Route Major on Carn Etchachan then wandered back over the plateau. The following day was more typical - walking on a bearing through a whiteout over to Hell's Lum

Smashing video! I’ve climbed several of the peaks in the panorama - always wondered how to pronounce Stob a Choire Odhair, I thought it might be a bit like ‘oar’ - but so far not Beinn Dorain. Driven and walked past it but never up it. Perhaps the view coming out of Tyndrum is a bit too intimidating. I’ve watched several Appalachian Trail videos and thought I knew what a ‘flip-flop-er’ was, but now I realise it’s someone who covers all bases by carrying both scotch eggs and a pork pie! Incidentally Tesco’s owe you, sponsorship, unlimited scotch eggs etc.,…….😂

1 of the 1st mountains that took my breath away and a day I’ll never forget 😮 i was on my way to Glencoe but was a day or 2 away making the most of my weekend i took the train to Corrour to visit the trainspotting location (bridge) i was in awe of the mountains on that journey up and when i seen Ben Dorain i said to myself and my friend who i was meeting at Glencoe to do The Buachaille for the 1st time that i had to go back to summit this mountain and did eventually just before the winter set in a mountain that i always call out to myself when passing by with a smile Ben Dorain i shout 😊 it’s a cracker and yous got a great day for it i still get ever so excited making that journey up from Fife Lochearnhead - Crianlarich - Tyndrum - Bridge of Orchy - Glencoe it is a very special road again respect for letting Gerry do the 180 I’m pretty sure that you know all these mountains as well as him but it’s a great part of your vlogs to look forward to step forward Gerry it’s all yours fantastic knowledge 👏 well done guys a great short winters day up on the mountains 🏔️ and although small B O O is a very special little place too 🤩 thanks for sharing David

I hiked up this mountain when I was fifteen while on holiday in Scotland. I asked my dad if I could do it by myself. After some careful negotiations he let me do it and I spent the whole day going up and down again, he sat at the bottom with some binoculars watching me go the whole way up and I called him at the peak. Im now thirty and I would like to go back and have another go.

Murray, would you mind personally if I ask you a finance question about your van , I watched the video about your own purchase and you saved for 10 years , volkswagon T6 .. I'm thinking of aiming in that direction and was wondering if the price was the same as I'm seeing today at around £60,000 newish .. with your type fittings and fixtures... for My budget would be around the £25,000 but the availability is likely too be way below the standards of your van .. ? From around 2010 models with outdated fixtures.. could you possibly give me the place that converted yours and a rough final price you paid and when roughly that was .. if you don't mind .. Glasgow boy here merely living in Hope .. thanks 👍

Hi - it was Calder campers in west lothian - I was lucky to have got mine before the pandemic hit and I think prices have gone up since then. If you get our their web page they have pricing and all their vans for sale on there too if memory serves me right - good luck
