I love this song, I hope people struggling in life right now can listen to this and find some sort of healing like I did. I agree with Window Tree! We all have our flaws, but that's what makes us human. If somebody hates you for being you, they don't represent the large number of people who don't or wouldn't hate you. I don't think I can fully understand what you might be going through or have gone through, but I want you to know that you deserve love, no matter what.
I think it's about social anxiety and being extremely self conscious, as well as putting up a fake-front to attract the people you want to be around, because you feel like you'll never be good enough. It talks about washing windows to make a glare, and I think that means simply trying to be something you aren't because you want to be attractive to other people. "I wouldn't like me if I met me" touches on the fact that most people with social anxiety don't love themselves and are worried that other people don't either. Hope that helps:)
