I lost my grandmother this past Valentine's Day. She lived in Europe so I couldn't be there for the funeral and to say a proper goodbye. Over the last several years she had been living with dementia and so when I visited I would see her fade more each time. She could no longer recognize me, but instead kept looking for the "little me" from when I was 4 or so. It broke my heart. And despite her passing hitting me so hard, a small part of me is relieved to know she's not hurting anymore. She's at peace. I know this song off by heart. When I saw this upload I decided to give it a new listen and ended up bawling. I can't help but think of her. How true these words are. She lived through so much. She had to grow up during WW2, lived under the USSR, lived a hard life on a farm and worked tirelessly to provide for her family. I learned so much from her and what it means to find strength and beauty in life. If only I had paid more attention. Maybe I should've written her words down- but you think there's always more time. As a kid you think there's all the time in the world. But then the person you love begins to fade away before your eyes and you come to the harsh reality that the one thing we never have enough of IS time. I'm so happy for all the moments I spent with her. I'm so happy and proud to be her granddaughter. If I go on to be a quarter of the woman she was I will have lived a fulfilling life. She was such a beautiful woman. I only wish I could've had more time. At least this song brings a small bit of comfort. "Light carries on endlessly, even after death". She may be gone, but her legacy lives on, her love lives on, her kindness lives on. And I will try my hardest to carry on that light to my grandchildren someday far away. You cannot simply do everything there is in your lifetime, so being able to do what you haven't done in another time period gives you that closure and chance, even if when you die, you'll never know that you did any of that since your mind, memories and body are given up and sacrificed so your spirit can continue on. We all are eternal beings, but we have an end to that eternity when we decide it's ready to go and start anew - so I don't believe it's a neverending cycle of suffering, rather it's a journey to understand the meaning of the Universe that we reside in, and until we find that out, we'll continue the cycle of life forever.

I found this song. I used to sit down with my dad on his back porch. Listening to music I normally found to hear how it spoke to us individually. A few months later he passed away. We had plans for that next day to take him out of down on a much needed vacation. Life had other plans. Spoke to him the night before, we had a disagreement but in the end I remember him saying "Just know I love you." and I said "I love you too, dad." I would have never thought a few hours later I'd get a call to wake me up. This isn't to sound sad, or trying to get attention. Just makes me smile knowing this was the last song I listened to with him. I played it for him after he went to sleep. It reminds me of my parents. I miss them so much. whenever I listen to this, I wonder where they are right now? Sometimes I can feel them.. it's like meeting them again someday. I have no words to describe that feeling.
Sometimes it scares me when I think about the existence of life and the universe. where's the end? Is death just another begining? If it is, how many lives have we lived? Is this a never ending circle? There's beauty in life but being stuck in this feels like a never ending suffering.
I believe in the reincarnation theory, that, at some point in time, your spirit - but not mind and body - are sent back down to Earth to relive another life as someone or something else. I think the reason for this is because the universe is trying to teach us something new in each life we live, to learn and grow differently, and to experience emotions that we didn't get to before. You cannot simply do everything there is in your lifetime, so being able to do what you haven't done in another time period gives you that closure and chance, even if when you die, you'll never know that you did any of that since your mind, memories and body are given up and sacrificed so your spirit can continue on. We all are eternal beings, but we have an end to that eternity when we decide it's ready to go and start anew - so I don't believe it's a neverending cycle of suffering, rather it's a journey to understand the meaning of the Universe that we reside in, and until we find that out, we'll continue the cycle of life forever.
True beauty of life is found only in Jesus. What he came to do for man on the cross was to make a way for us, that through him, we will be saved and through him we can find true purpose in this world and eternal life in heaven. In Christ, death is just the beginning of eternity in heaven. And you don't have to be afraid, because you would know through faith in him, who has conquered sin and death, through which the world and and all creation was made, that after life on earth, you can have everlasting life in heaven with him. The creator of the universe. It is a beautiful thing. Believe in Jesus, allow him to show you what life really is and what lies ahead of you. He loves you🙂

"You taught me the courage of stars before you left" I was on tears after hearing this part, for any reason linked it to Jesus's preachings, and suddenly I felt so vulnerable and grateful for him, he gave us so many teachings before leaving us.

This masterpiece gives me a new understanding to things everytime I listen to it.
I found this song. I used to sit down with my dad on his back porch. Listening to music I normally found to hear how it spoke to us individually. A few months later he passed away. We had plans for that next day to take him out of down on a much needed vacation. Life had other plans. Spoke to him the night before, we had a disagreement but in the end I remember him saying "Just know I love you." and I said "I love you too, dad." I would have never thought a few hours later I'd get a call to wake me up. This isn't to sound sad, or trying to get attention. Just makes me smile knowing this was the last song I listened to with him. I played it for him after he went to sleep. I promised him I will travel to the end of the universe until I find him again to hold him one last time.
