Outstanding video. The best on PIM. I always tell someone is a great trainer when they actually go through the motions and explain things in simply terms with out any gaps and explain things well. Now I have a taster concerning how good you are I will look out for you when I purchase training.
Hi Kevin thanks for the video, I would like to ask you one question. If I would like to configure role with MFA required for user but for the user MFA is disabled status. What will happen when user will try to activate role?
Great video, like many other said , you can cut down MFA short to prevent your video go off topic. Let me me which course of Udemy that you teach on this PIM and SSO. I’ll register for the course.
Thanks Kevin - so I could give permissions to a user at one of our clients sites so that he/she can access AAD and view users and reset passwords only? I dont want them to be able to do anything else or view any other information in AAD, just be able to reset users passwords.
Having to log out / log in to refresh could be a security issue ? I'm thinking about hey, I have Alice that can create user permanently, but she has been hacked and her password leaked, and now Bob is on her account (let's say there is no MFA). I, as an admin, would revoke the ability to create / delete users immediately, but if Alice account is not signed out, can the hacker still create / delete users ?
Hi Kevin, it really helped me. But could you please tell me if we assign PIM on existing user account. Let say the user has Admin access. Will it affect on user roles. . Please reply
Correct me if I am wrong, if we give access as permanently, then it won't affect the existing role. If we assign access as per JIT, after the specific time it will revoke the access and then again we have to assign role??
My advise to all azure videos creators to watch this video, I was watching another video for in-tune the guy was repeating and jumping to different topics back again and the mouse moving everywhere in the screen.

Thank you so much great work
Is pim only used for azure ad? Seems similar to rbac.

That is correct, there is a password admin role that they can be assigned. They would then be able to just reset password for users

@@ruchikumari3256 Did you get the answer for this?
@@vasudev8799 yes
@@ruchikumari3256 gud.. can yu tel me how it works pls!!..
@@vasudev8799 what's your exact question ?
User Bob Ross needs to allow access for some happy little trees. (What, I'm the only one?)
Thanks - but you could've done it in 20min if you excluded the MFA stuff (which is very easy/follow the bouncing ball). Thanks anyways!
awesome...

I can't even view users with the tester acc.
