I have been enjoying your informative videos. Most of my clients use Business Basic and Business Standard and therefore Security Defaults. I have noticed that the Entra P1 license appears to be applied Tenant-wide when a single Business Premium license is purchased. Do you know whether this enables Conditional Access for all users of the Tenant?
It looks like P1 is part of the Business Premium license learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business-premium/microsoft-365-business-faqs?view=o365-worldwide#does-microsoft-entra-id-p1-come-with-microsoft-365-business-premium
Why does Microsoft insists on making the use of their promote and more complimentary, which NOT only adds more licensing fees but even further costs due to the constant need of IT specialists. What is their model ? I think ‘small & medium’ enterprises will have to definitively move to other products such as google and the likes. They haven’t understood that there is a ‘limit’ to the expenses that a small business can face. Good luck to them, but I really think they are missing the point. Regards. Martin ( South Africa)
What i am looking for.. exact n perfect match. Much appreciated. U got a new subscriber 😊. Can you also please explain on: are these p1 and p2 licenses per user licence? Say like if i want to stick to the features offered by p1/p2 licence, would ot b sufficient if i buy one p1/p2 licence so that all the users in my tenant will have these features?
@@Ciraltos so basically at my environment, I am lanning to go with p2 coz of the price.. I got around 70 users. If I want to go with p2, THN I need to purchase 70 p2 licensed if I understand it correctly. Is that correct?
Thank you, Travis..

It does enable CA tenant wide but you need a P1 license for every user to be compliant.
@@kabookeo Interesting and thank you. Best leave them on Security Defaults then.

They are licensed per-user. Thanks!
@Ciraltos both entra p1 n p2 licensed per user? Not like office defender p1 n p2?
P1 or P2 per user, they don't need both. The Suite is an add-on that does need P1 or P2 in addition to the Entra Suite.
