Yes indeed. The name of the protagonist is Rena Hayami. and has the same resemblance as asuka . surely if hayami didn't exist there wouldn't be asuka kazama either. But the r racing game was released in 2003 While asuka was released in 2004 when they first released tekken 5.

Absolutely loved this game when I was younger, the Ace Combat style Radio Transmissions. It's a shame Namco never expanded on this idea. also i'm pretty sure the guy Rena Speaks to in one of the cutscenes is portrayed by Eddie Frierson, aka Chopper himself.
