I am a newbie for no-code apps and frontly is so new and has so many use cases it was hard to find information for my use case of setting up courses. Thank you very much for this video. I improved many things in the application with the help of this video. For the part of the custom variables, remember that you don't need to create one for each one, you can configure just one and bring the information like this {{custom.your_key.Custom Field}}.

Thanks!! Great video!! Do you think Frontly will become a big app like Glide or Softer ???
I haven't used Glide much, but I've created a few projects with both Frontly and Softr, and I have to say, in many ways, Frontly is actually much better. One of the biggest advantages is their option to instantly refresh a block whenever you want, so the app doesn't have to wait for Google to push updates. This is something that is horrible in Softr, when you decide to use Google Sheets instead of the absurdly pricy Airtable, your blocks take forever to refresh data, making many use cases impractical.
However, I think for now Sofr has better design and better marketing (and a larger team I believe), so it's hard to say if Frontly will be able to scale as much. I would certainly hope so, as they are building a great product, and their founder Patrick is the most responsive and active startup founder I've ever talked to. Keep in mind Softr was founded 2 years yearlier than Frontly, so they had quite a head start. I believe Frontly has a bright future ahead of their platform, especially if they manage to step up their marketing.
