    I've been so sick for a couple weeks now and seeing your lovely face and hearing your charming voice is so soothing. I love the quilting ideas. I have mostly stuffed animals to finish (like 40 or so) and I'm with you in anything that will help me get motivated to get them done. Love the new hair and thank you again for sharing a piece of your world with us. 💜

    I'm in for WIP October! There's at least four quilts in various stages of completion. These need to be finished. And I haven't dared count the non-quilting ones.
    I love your videos. They are just like your quilts, bright, colourful and full of life.

    Hi, I just love your videos they are so sweet and informative. I always had a fear of quilting because if I did it wrong it would ruin my quilt top. Or I would have to pick out the quilting stitches, rip out, not sure what you call that. What helped me get over my fear of machine quilting mistake was to do pot holders I just did a simple design over it. So I learned what design I liked plus I always had gifts to give away.

    Thanks for the pep talk. I am more of a topper than a quilter. Part of the problem is that I make mostly big quilts, and the thought of basting them and wrestling them through my machine wears me out! Maybe I should make some mini quilts since they are easier to baste and quilt. I will check out your eBook. I think I need some more ideas for quilting designs.

    Great advice I'm going to try it out. I am going to look at the pattern book because the machine I am using right now only sews in a straight line forward or back word, it is a very old singer and you can't even drop the feed dogs so I can't do any free motion quilting. So I need to find a pattern that goes with that line sewing. See you on October first, sounds like fun. xoxo : ]

    Could you do a video to show the quilts and the quilting up close? Like the house quilt, would love a close up.
    What do you use for batting? How big of a quilt have you quilted on your machine using one of the 101 designs? Do you use a special presser foot to do your quilting and what stich length?
    I know so many questions, but i would like to know. Maybe could do a video. Love your channel.

    • @Sugaridoo
      @Sugaridoo  6 лет назад

      Thank you soo much! Love all your questions! Will use them in new videos. For now I only did smaller projects with my 101 quilt designs. But I did quilt quilts up to queen sized with my domestic sewing machine. I always use a walking foot when straight line quilting. Will go into more detail in a video somewhere in the next weeks. :)

    Irene, what did your husband think of the new hair? I love the cut not so much the color, sorry! Anyway have you ever done serpentine stitches on any of your quilts? Also I love the straight line quilting design on the bunny quilt but is it finished? I'm just wondering because of the marker still showing? If we waited to start a new project after we finished the previous one none of us would have any UFO's or WIP's, even you. Sometimes I get bored when I'm making a queen sized bed quilt so I start something new. I think right now I have about 7 WIP's. Thanks for the ebook.

    • @Sugaridoo
      @Sugaridoo  6 лет назад

      Hi Angela! Ah thanks, my husband loved the hair. It's a complete new color and cut for me, the color will turn a bit warmer over the next few weeks 😊 No I've never done serpentine stitches. The bunny wasn't finished indeed. It's almost done :) removed the line by now and only have to attach the binding to it. Haha you have a good point there. I also love to have a few WIPs on hand but at this moment it just got a bit out of control.. Hope you'll enjoy the book!
