I’m sorry but there is absolutely no reason why a 6 y/o should get her hair bleached. These are very harsh chemicals that are harmful to inhale, can damage the scalp and obviously damage the hair. And I’m saying this even as an adult who has bleached her hair before!

Wow 😮 and you know she didn’t talk to her about this after filming?! And I see a child acting a little rambunctious, seems excited for her girls day. Sometimes kids act out and we have to pick and choose our battles because there are lessons to be learned every day. Why on earth would you bleach her hair? She has naturally blond hair already so if she wanted to dye it the color would stick much easier than with dark hair. The chemicals can be extremely damaging to developing hair and skin so please be careful to where and how much you put. I would check with a doctor before to make sure it is completely safe for her especially considering how curios young kids are.

And for this reason, I don't have one single grey hair at the age 49. Also another tip, try to prevent yourself and your daughter from shaving as much as possible as if you do, your hair on your body will grow in to where you dint have to shave it but once every few months and the hair won't freel prickly. Little Everly is so animated. She’s a sweet happy little girl. I think she’s going to be a LOT like her mommy with the gift of gab. In many ways, I like that Maddie lets her express herself without shutting her down. She listens to her daughter and what she has to say with patience, even when Everly gets a bit much. I love that she validates her daughter. I was of the generation that children should be seen, not heard. Very damaging to a child’s self worth! ❣️

I hesitate to comment . Overall, I think Maddie is very intelligent and does a good job parenting her kids. But allowing a 6 year old to get highlights is a bad idea on so many levels. It puts too much focus on looks. She needs to be around more children her age and playing some physical games. She is too cooped up in that apartment. Why isn’t she in some kind of summer program for kids? She thinks she is a grown up and she is just a little kid. Also if you insist on letting her color her hair they sell natural products that wash out in five shampoos. But I would rather you focus on developing her interests in other things.

I understand everyone’s worried about the chemicals she’s putting in her daughters hair but I’m sure everly would probably end up just trying to do something to her hair herself instead of asking her mom and doing it the right way… kids are known to cut their own hair and do all types of other damaging stuff without even asking first around her age… this is also a bonding experience with her daughter and it’s just highlights meaning it’s not going on her skin… even still it’s up the the hair stylist to make it as least damaging as possible… it should be that way for everyone… this little girl goes to the salon with her mom and sees she’s getting her hair done and just wants the same!! It’s like if u have ur own daughters they’d want their nails done if u have urs done! My daughter is 1 and obsessed with my nails so anytime I do mine I do hers as well 🤷🏻‍♀️ if my daughter was 6 and wanted her hair done I’d totally let her so she can express herself! I cant not wait till they make it illegal to use your children in your videos, uploads, vlogs. I honestly think since Ruby Franke's daughters heartbreaking testimony the other day, i really don't think it will be long before platforms will be banning all under 18's from being used in their parents channels, theres even talks about children being able to financially claim whats owed to them once they reach 18. As far as this child bleaching her own child's hair, well im actually lost for words!

I think it's fine? It's not her entire head and it's just once. Leave Maddie alone. Not like she's a bad mom or anything. (I'm 15 tho so idk if my opinion is valid)

Do not dye her hair at all cost. The earlier and more you dye your hair, it weakens your scalp and you will grow grey hair at a much earlier age. And gray hair is mich thicker and wirey so you don't ha e to.lose 4:21 the nice soft and shiny hair

I hAve 1 thing to say to all who are telling Maddie how to raise her kids particularly ev I'm also a young mother of 2 and raising kids from a young age is not easy all of you are saying things that could help or could make Maddie doubt her skills a mom you need to grow up and think about how the mother will feel and personally I think it your going to criticise someone's skills as a parent you should have child first because you have no idea how hard it is to raise kids from. Young age and if you are going to reply to me saying how to raise her child don't bother keep this crap to your self

Everly's hair turned out very pretty. Blonde highlights on a 6 yr old is no worse than a parent getting their baby's ears pierced. Highlights don't hurt and they grow out.
