I've noticed many rip Kwesi for his first draft, but nobody talks about the fact he was a first time gm, who inherited scouts and didn't have the benefit of having his own staff scout players under their own lenses. I'm not saying he's perfect but, just like KOC, he is allowed to develop as a GM and become better as time goes on.
1 starter in 2 drafts? Signed overpaid mediocre frauds? Some that didnt even start. Coulda had overrated JJ signed earlier to cheaper deal? Drafting a 3 rd rounder that no one wanted in the top 10? Oh boy...
He's been a mixed bag, but he is getting better. That first draft I don't hold against him. He did not have a lot of time to prepare and get the infrastructure around him after getting hired. If we judge him without looking at that draft, he's done a good job overall.

Ed ingram: starter, akayleb evans:likely starter jordan addison:starter. Traded for a top 5 tightend and locked him up long term. If you really expect every signing to be a starter, you dont understand how football works. Signing guys like bullard, mundt, oliver, etc builds depth. Signings/trades for guys like davenport, reagor, blacklock,etc are to take low risk high reward shots at former top talents. Didnt overpay 36year old kirk/30 year old danielle. Jj was a consensus top 15 pick. Dallas turner was a consensus top 10 pick.

A. The wilfs are owners, not GM’s. Unless you have specific knowledge of Hunter not being traded because of them, that’s squarely on Kwesi. Second of all, walking into a locker room where most players are looking for a bigger contract and telling them there’s now a reason to “let off the gas” for a potentially higher pick that could potentially take a roster spot from someone who doesn’t want to give it up is laughable and short sighted. I understand we’re in the doldrums of the offseason but come on guys. Don’t puke on the public.
KOC had a hard time running the ball even when we had Dobbs and Mullens in there…we’ll see if he’s willing to change, but we have t seen it yet

Kwesi might be. KOC likely not. KOC’s contract is up after 2025 and if they have a mediocre to bad year this year, he will have to wait until his contract expires IF he gets an extension. If KOC has 2 mediocre years, he’s not getting extended. As for Kwesi, I think he will be fine. Spielman oversaw 3 separate HCs. If we know anything about the Wilfs, Kwesi’s tenure is likely to be longer than KOC’s.
They will both be extended. Everybody in that building knows this year will likely be mediocre if not poor. This is a multi year plan

KOC is of the belief that you score using big plays , ignoring sustained drives and ball control.
I question that dependency on big plays.
It quite often leads to negative time of possession, meaning the opponent gets more opportunities.
The Vikings will never be a great team by relying on big plays while sacrificing time of possession. NEVER.
KOC needs to create better time management and ball control than he currently does by incorporating a solid run/screen game.
He ignores it.
