I flew an A220-100 from SLC to BNA and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The 18.6 inch or 47.2cm seat width left me shocked by how comfortable it was and how much better I felt after a similar amount of time in a 17 inch wide Boeing seat. I think I would feel comfortable flying across an ocean in the A220.
Don’t worry about the fish! We got you! We have amazing Makita vacuums that make quick work of those fish! Think of all the kids dumping fish all over the place... Keep Flying! FA Max
I haven't been in the main cabin yet as all my A220 flights got upgraded to Comfort+ and First Class, but it's definitely my favorite cabin! The longest flight I've had with it was from Austin to Salt Lake, and I could have easily spent a few more hours on that plane. Being out of LA, I just hope Delta brings back the Burbank-Atlanta route eventually and puts an A220 on that route (formerly served by a now-retired 737-700).
@@sanspotter No worries and yah, it’ll always be the C series to me, though I’m glad Airbus did save it! (Also the air vent footage, never get rid of it!)😸
Great video as always! I'm glad to know that Delta flies their A220s between Denver and Salt Lake City, because I'm a Denver native and I live in a suburb of the city. And I would love to fly on the A220.
8:05 id say they probably just took the seats and ice screens from their 737’s and installed the a220 with them either to keep consistency, get them into service quicker, or save money
I like Denver airport. Easy to get around, especially with the moveable walkways (unlike Atlanta) but the jetway bridge is sooooooo long. When the airlines say 2 hours before your flight, you surely need it with that bridge
@@sanspotter I can imagine so! I'm sorry for our collective loss. And for the cleaning team afterwards. Although I'm pretty sure they are very much used to worse than this.
Awesome video Scott! Love the A220 especially Delta’s example. Can’t wait to try it!! I have plans to fly it in October from Detroit to New York’s LaGuardia Airport!!![DTW-LGA] Fingers crossed! 🤞

Curious have you ever flown to Telluride? You can fly from Denver to telluride on a Dornier 328 jet and can now fly from Phoenix to telluride, I think this would be an awesome flight review
When Scott said he messed up in the titles I thought he either spilled his Chicken and rice or picked another meal by mistake. What a relief it’s only crispy goldfish!
After trial (IAD) and error (LAX/CDG1) the ATL model has proven to be the best layout for handling passengers. See the new terminal at SLC for an example, or the one at DTW which Northwest built.
Maybe one day (once the technology improves) I can livestream an entire flight and you’ll get to watch me dump a bag of goldfish onto the floor in real time. 😂
Does anyone know what the guy in the scissor lift thingy was doing on the ground prior to depature? I dont think lve ever seen one of those at an Australian Airport. 👍
I probably would have been more impressed if this flight happened a year ago. I’ve basically been sitting around all year thinking about this flight (thanks to being grounded by covid), and I think that was a bit too much time to let my expectations run out of control. 😅
This is what Southwest should have used to replace there aging 737 fleet instead of the troublesome MAX's. A whole new fleet of Airbus A220-300's. Just a beautifully quiet yet powerful regional aircraft and around the same size as a older generation 737-700. They could have easily replaced there 700's with these A220-300's. I truly hope more US based airlines use these gorgeous planes for there short haul routes.
I don't think Souwest would do that for now. The 737 haven't been no more trouble for now, but you can try JetBlue a220, without doubt, the best 220 experience on the US
You know those gold fish could have ended up in that IMC weather or in that Cessna somewhere in those clouds asking for ifr clearance. Yeah they had a better chance on the floor
Great trip report, goldfish and all! Was great to see things looking almost back to normal, except for the muzzles, "distancing" and "snack pack" on the aircraft.

It feels weird watching this guy with dialogue, I remember his early videos were like asmr so calm and relaxing.
Calm and relaxing? Most of those videos had high-energy techno music. 😄
I don’t love how 25% of his video is advertisements. The commentary is annoying
I actually prefer the commentary 🤷♂️
