Floridian in Massachusetts

In this video we fly from Tampa to the Boston airport. Take the bus to downtown. Walk around sightseeing. Then take the train to Salem before picking up a rental car and heading further into the state.
I didn't film a lot of the touristy stuff. Mainly just our travel and what wildlife I found in town. That amounted to a couple squirrels and several birds.
It's once we got away from the coast that I started filming our adventures.
The first big stop was Dinosaur Footprints in Holyoke. There's just a small pull out on the side of the road near the Connecticut River. A short trail leads to the dinosaur tracks which are really cool in person. There were also nice views and more small wildlife to see. I especially liked finding an American Red Squirrel.
Speaking of unique squirrels, our next stop was Stanley Park in Westfield. My research lead me here to find black squirrels, and my visit was successful! Technically these are the melanistic form of the gray squirrel, but I really wanted to see one and capture it on film.
There were also lots of Canada Geese on property as well as gardens, a carillon tower, and even more dinosaur prints. We didn't explore the whole park. It's big, with lots to do. My goal was to find that special animal and continue down the road.
...and along that road we found some wild turkeys!
