- While J. Cole was traveling around the country shooting the film, 4 Your Eyez Only, he stopped at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA to speak with students and share an experience he had shooting a scene in the film.
I just wanna talk to the man

d And my nigga never walking again
Get in the queue
Richii Jimenez sorry if I'm harping again, but these things happen often
I know these things happen often
Cole is a human first, then a rapper. One of the reasons he's my favorite.
man how lucky are we to live in the same era as j cole and kendrick wow.
Muhannad Fohunnid lucky as hell
Muhannad Fohunnid for real!!
Muhannad Fohunnid forreal
Muhannad Fohunnid how lucky are we to live in the same era as j. Cole*
xxm0n5t3rxxx nah j cole my favorite artist but I even recognize Kendrick the best, nothing wrong with being 1b
Its not even just about the music, its the person
You dont see any other rappers doing this.
Max Ryan Logic does
logic and cole realest out there
Max Ryan Kendrick does it to, chance, many good rappers do.
Max Ryan the saddest part is that people say Hes trash. j cole the goat!
Cesar Cole people say he's trash cause of 4 your eyez only it's not the club banger that they wanted
Your the best J cole. Godbless your life and career.
ian raton Amen 🙏 Agree with you man
Agreed
J Cole is the best !!!
Damn, i could listen to him all day just talkin its really deep
"I dont want no picture with him, i just wana talk to the man" !!!!!!!!!!
That’s wrong 😭💀
@@sophiagarcia8921 he’s a lil confused but he’s got the spirit 😂
Cole the goat love this guy can not wait till he come to Atlanta I will be seeing him in Atlanta watching. Him perform
The Red Hood seeing him in Boston in a few months, CANT WAIT!!!
The Red Hood in Duluth? cause my happy ass and my man going too lol
The Red Hood he coming to jacksonville too
Also going to ATL
Best scene off the documentary
I know it kind of sounds like something you just say when he called her "glowing" but that was the only way to describe that woman. Really tied the whole thing together with such a vivid example of that spirit of perseverance (to the point of "glowing") in the face of incomprehensible tragedy that is the story of black america.
Only 3 rappers Ik tht do this.... 2pac cole and Kendrick they really care for the community
david banner, killer mike, bun b, chance the rapper etc
Dj TrEyZ bAnDz Kendrick is wack he was part in a gang and probably killed people, I don't think he is that great
chance too has been doing alot for Chicago.
A M III Bruh he was never apart a gang dumbass he grew up in an environment full of gangs and family members in gangs. He a Good kid in a mad city
Dj TrEyZ bAnDz chance and logic do this as well especially logic
That dude at the end was like, "you da man"
That shit cracked me up cause I was saying it too😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Great Artist. Great Person. Cole World.
i know rite i wish him and kendrick do a album together or tour together one day
Its crazy because their are countless stories like this to be heard but nobody to share the wisdom!!! It feels real good to be a fan of someone so close to the hood change lives by sharing the wisdom passed to them!!! Thank You J. Cole!!! See ya @ the top! #HEG
I wish I had a friend or a brother like Cole man, he is so humble and so close to a god and to a soul. The words he speaks the way he speaks them and how he acts is just so inspirational, his a real role model for me tho.
That last scene really stuck with me about staying positive in hard times. Definitely my favourite part of the entire documentary.
Some next level realness
This is why hes my fav💯👏
she is a gift from god
Vinsent Hernandez all of us are gifts from God
Cole fuckin world
Blackerican213 no blanket
+RainFlop nigga
Why everybody just sitting there starring at him like it's nothing, ur being blessed with a cole world !!!
Maybe they are listening to his words...
Rosiee80 what u want them to do lol
Rosiee80 If it was nothing they wouldn't be looking at all
Rosiee80 would have been snappin' it up and giggling the whole time trying to interrupt him. _"WHY IS EVERYONE SO QUIET?....WE'RE BEING BLESSED WITH A COLE WORLD!"_
G.O.A.T
Isn't J.Cole Just So Great Man, You Can Tell He's A Good And Humble Person
I shed real tears when I watched the scene with that woman. It was very powerful
"God is the answer, God is definitely the answer"
She is so right
It doesn't get Realer than this man. Wisdom will get u a long way in life

as much as I want to agree, this is simply not true. Trust me, I'm a big j.cole fan. But he does not top Kendrick.

Kendrick big too...no disrespect...✌
no they are no where near equal but both extremely talented and contribute to the game
I can sit in a room & just talk & listen to J Cole the whole day.
Just imagine Him walking into your classroom.
jermaine i dont know if youll see this but youre such a inspiration to me your music helps me and i appreciate how humble you are. the world needs more people like you. cant wait to see you july 9 at the honda center.
4 your eyez only , don't you ever scratch or disrespect it #coleworld
That lady is a strong woman. Didn't even know who she was talking to. Just lookin at Cole like a stranger.
God gives us the strength to carry on through it all. He won't take away all our pain but he helps us through it.
That woman said, god has her there for a reason. She has 3 jobs, had a son who sadly passed away. Yet she seemed so strong, and not at all effected by that. Then outta no where J.Cole, big time rapper, shows up and talks to her, and she dont even know who he is. Of course god has her here for a reason. God has us all for a reason, so dont waste it, thinking your worthless, everybody a voice, a somebody, no not a nobody.
The definition of a man thats for the people. So proud of the dude. He's come such a long way.
I get the feeling that J. Cole will quit rappin' real soon, and pursue something deeper than rap.
+Lilslick1O1 Me too fam, I like J. Cole more than Kendrick; maybe he'll take a back seat as you say and promote Dreamville more than ever. I think him co-directing his "4 Your Eyez Only" documentary is foreshadowing of him pursuing a conscious film career. Let's watch this space.
Exactly ! Life moves in stages . People see where he’s at as the end all be all but God is just getting started . All he did was give him a platform , now He will direct him in how to utilize it . I see this shift happening for many other rappers as well. These men are leaders in processing .
DAMN 3 years later and u got that right 😳😳
Basketball
PAC would be proud of Cole movements
J Cole definitely is one of tha greats....he is an incredibly blessed and humble person

man God Bless Cole I hate when people say j Cole is boring its rappers like Cole that help me get through life
I saw him in 2015 and im so glad i will be seeing him again this year i hope one day to meet him he seem so cool
Not even playing, i was brought up without the Teachings of God. But after hearing that strong woman speak about the hardships and devastating loss she endured and said she has so much more to live for and that god is the answer. Shit got me thinking like, how can someone be instilled with so much positivity and faith without there being a sign or presence. Sincerely, thank you Jermaine for this film, shit opened my eyes.
J. Cole is just like no other! The spirit of that man is so powerfull! He only focuses on what's real!
Brings tears to my eyes. Somebody to be so passionate, and kind, and caring. I hope I become the type of man you are, when and if I make it into this acting business. I'll see you in Chicago, in July! Had to make sure my first concert I go to, is yours.
This man is amazing in some many ways

Reason why I love J. Cole
This man more than a rapper. Seriously. Ya'll talk about the Goat or who more lyrical or who more turnt up. He means more to me personally. No other rapper doing things like this.
not alot of people could relate to that glowing mother. If I was in her shoes, I wouldn't be a happy person. can't say much in words. It so sad and inspiring.
