I appreciate you mentioning secondary weaknesses in these games, as I was not aware of them aside from metal blade because I’ve never heard any RUclips critic mention them. Probably because that would mean acknowledging the superiority of Mega Man 2. Or they just aren’t aware of it’s existence, which is probably more likely. I mean EPG even called Mega Man 2 as having a *strict* weakness order, despite arguably being the most open ended as far as order is concerned
Oh yeah I know about that one. I didn’t mention that trick because I feel like it breaks the flow and I typically never use it. I used to rely on it earlier but I have gotten better over the years. But then again, I mentioned Wood Man flying lol.
Still interesting the amount of different weaknesses most of the bosses have in this game and this game only. Once more, solid guide with yet more stuff I never would've known otherwise (i.e. Flash Man juggling, Heat Man's Crash Bomb interaction, etc.)!
Hello new to the channel here, but a long-time Megaman fan (first game was 2 on the NES finished it when I was 6 years old). Awesome video and analysis! Did many playthroughs over the years but learned new things like the juggling and one crash bomb left trick! Have my like and sub👍. Keep up the great work and looking forward to more Megaman videos!
This was a good video. The explanations alongside the footage give a good understanding on what to do. However, you could given a seizure warning somewhere when the Wily Castle came around; or at least lower the brightness when the flashing lights came up. Also, the bubble weapon is the only thing that can cause damage to Alien?! How? You sure there isn't any other way to hit the boss? Anyways, again, good video.
Apologies about the lack of a seizure warning: I had it in mind but forgot about it when uploading to YT earlier in the day. I’ll keep it in mind if I ever do a MM4 boss guide. And yes, Bubble Lead is the only thing that hurts Alien. Everything else instantly heals him.

32:43 One extra tip (not mentioned in this video) is that you can spam the pause button to dodge all of Boobeam’s projectiles.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
edit: Isn't it funny that Mega Man games have never showcased a water man?
I guess so. Fun fact: Mega Man 1 was supposed to have a "Water Man," and there's even concept art of this Water Man available on Capcom's website.
@@demontropolis7742 and even offical concept art of bond man, he looks like a duck
oh really? never knew.@@demontropolis7742
what do i search up to find this on capcoms website?@@demontropolis7742

Mega Man 3 is another game where bosses have a LOT of weaknesses, maybe even more bizarre than Mega Man 2.
@@demontropolis7742 True, but it still doesn't have the sheer amount of them like 2
Awesome video. Definitely need these tips for my next Mega Man 2 playthrough!!!
Honestly, thanks for this. I've been stuck on Wily Machine 2 lately so this info will really help. Especially the crash bomb weakness.
Looking forward to your MM3 video to see how to beat Shadow Man with only the buster
YES MEGA MAN 2 LETS GO!!!!
Very good guide!

I did not know that robot masters in this game had anti-weaknesses. I thought MM7 was the first game to add that.
