Brandon, your explanations of Biblical passages and Jewish and Christian teachings are very helpful for anyone wishing to understand these two overall faiths. You are helping many people in their journeys of faith. Thank you!
Brandon you are the best. Please don’t ever stop your videos. I keep listening to them over and over and am constantly learning and understanding more. God bless you.❤🙏
Brandon, thank you so much for your insight. I can only hope this brings me even closer to our Lord. I always learn new things when I watch you. You are doing God’s work here on earth.
In the Chosen Matthew calls Quintus "Dominus" which is incorrect in Latin. Dominus is first person singular in the nominative case which is used for the subject of a sentence. In the vocative case which is used for direct address, which is what Matthew is doing, the word would be "Domine" pronounced as Do-me-nay with the "o", "e" and "a" pronounced as long vowels.
I’m a new subscriber and I’m enjoying your videos. What I would suggest, to make it easier for people to navigate to your website, is to make the address in the drop down an actual link. Jesus is truly coming soon. May you all feel the love of Jesus in your heart just ask him in. Hallelujah 🙏✝️
Brandon, I thank you for what you had given me this morning!! I feel blessed to of heard what you taught, I am thankful that I am able to understand what you thought. I pray that I will be given strength to share what you taught . Made so many things come to my mind, more connections that I have missed. God bless you!
@1:32 you say “this is the word for rust”. Didn’t you mean “rest”? We have been told that our last name is Polish for sabbath [Szabat]. I was pointing out to my husband that his last name meant ‘rest’, and when I wanted him to hear you say that, he insisted you pronounced ‘rust’. And so you did!😂
Quintus was a praetorian guard. These guys were both local police and local fire fighters. If his attitude bothers anyone, Quintus' life depended on strict laws and justice. He had to know what was going on in his district.
Brandon, thank you so much for your ministry and sharing the Word of God. Question I've always wondered: I assume the apostles were baptized either by John, or by Jesus, yes? Why do you suppose these baptisms are not mentioned anywhere in the Gospels? Thank you! Blessings!!
Luke 3:16 John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. After Jesus rose, he presented himself to the disciples and said; Acts 1:5 For John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Blessing to you and all who read this. 🙏🙌😇
Brandon, in the Shabbat ceremonies shown at the end of episode two, the men are all wearing yarmulkes. But I don’t see anyone wearing those in any episode after that. Can you comment?
Sooooooo close. Instead of "whenever you drink this [wine],, remember me," it is "do this [the Pascal sacrifice] in remembrance of Me." We remember Jesus every day. We celebrate His life in remembrance of His sacrifice for us.
Brandon, should we too, I mean gentiles, rest on shabbat? Or was this law just for Jews. For you've mentioned before that Jesus came not to abolish the laws but to fullfill them. So should we also work 6 days and rest on sabbath(saturday)...gather in worship then? Help!!! Saturdays....gather
Hello Brandon, I very much enjoy your Chosen video’s. Here is something for your consideration. GOD gave His commandments at least 500 years before Moses and the 10 commandments written. In fact, he started giving His commandments early in the beginning. Gen 26:5 “Because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” GOD wrote them in stone, for Moses to remind the people what they were failing to keep them, and to remind them what they were. They were not new commandments. Moses tells the people what the Lord commanded before the 10 commandments were written and given to him; Exodus 16:23 He said to them, “This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Tomorrow is a day of solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord; bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil, and all that is left over lay aside to be kept till the morning.’” Exodus 16:29 See! The Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore, on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.” Then the 10 commandments were written in Exodus 20 Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Blessings to you and all who read this. 🙏🙌😇
You saying that these parts come from scripture dumbfounds me as to why people say that the Chosen is unbiblical. This may sound harsh and judgmental, but I think those people aren’t going deep enough with their bible study.
Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus sits at the right hand of God. I am going to my Father. At Jesus' baptism God reveals " This my beloved whom I approve". Jesus is in union with God but not God himself but God's Son. "The Father is greater than I"
You are correct. The very deep explanation of Jesus is very complex because Jesus is of two parts due to the fall of man. This the only way God can deliver the truth of our reality which is known to those who understood scripture.
I’ve watched all 3 seasons of the chosen and the majority isn’t out of the Bible. Mary Magdalene Jesus rescued her from being stoned to death not in a pub!! It’s based on Mormons verse and Catholicity not the true King James. The devil is Deceiving you all by watching the chosen and listening to the break down of each episodes. Go read your Bible
Jesus delivered Mary from demons, the woman caught in adultery and about to be stoned is a completely different woman. I would love to hear where in the book of Mormon it says otherwise - as far as I know it doesn't. Same goes for the Catholic teaching, they don't confuse these two women, either

Thank you Brandon....such a powerful and timely msg. Thank you for the breakdown of Shabbat 👍🤗🕊️🔥🌹
oh so that's why Matthew kept calling him Dominus I thought it was like a middle name or nickname or something I had no idea. Thanks for the knowledge
Brandon you are the best. Please don’t ever stop your videos. I keep listening to them over and over and am constantly learning and understanding more. God bless you.❤🙏
please keep diving deeper into the episodes
Man your the Boss.
Thank you. Jesus is Lord🙏

I was always taught that the third commandment was Shabbat.
Bravo…
Thank you Brandon…..that was amazing ✝️✝️✝️

@@DEWorDEWnot I've heard that scripture all my life, yet never put two and two together! Thank you for the reminder. Peace!
Gods said to celebrate the feast as they are remembrance of what God did for the Israelite-Hebrews .

Is there a book that correlates Jewish tradition and practices with the Bible?

The Bible does not say that Mary Magdeline about to be stoned. The woman caught in adultery was not named.
Jesus delivered Mary from demons, the woman caught in adultery and about to be stoned is a completely different woman.
