      I read your comment and loved the idea of using scalled scissors. I made 3 trays using my scallop scissors. I found after using them, one can use the other cut side and it makes an inverted scallop like a zigzag so I used that too. Thanks.

    These are great!
    Your painting techniques are fantastic. They really do look like old metal. I love your finish tutorials. I'm learning so much. I need to get a little sponge like that.
    I used lace to add detail to the rim of a cake plate. I cut the embroidered edge off a much larger piece of lace.

      Thanks Shyra🥰 I'm glad you are learning from me, bc I have learned so much from you😊 The sponge came with a variety set and they have white cylinder cases on them..I think they are Martha Stewart..I got them as a gift. ❤

      Those little sponges are called dobbers and you can get them from dollar or variety stores depending where you live. I loved watching this video and I'll definitely be making some trays. I have heaps of lace from previous crafts and they will be put to good use now. Thanks.

    I haven't been shopping in a long time, but there used to be metal jewelry findings designed to hold a large gemstone with a flat side and little edge, sometimes fancy, to hold the gem in. They should be in different sizes and shapes. And you could add wire or staples or something as handles. I Don't have a cricut machine.

    • @tinykeyholeminis
      @tinykeyholeminis  Год назад +1

      🥰 You don't need a cricut machine..just get creative! Good old-fashioned crafting and a lil imagination will get the job down! 😉❤️

    • @gellrb56
      @gellrb56 Год назад +1

      You could use paper clips or the copper-colored heavy duty staples found on some packages.

    • @tinykeyholeminis
      @tinykeyholeminis  Год назад

      I would most highly recommend a wire that's good for you! The hairpins were very hard to bend. When I work with an easy wire it just makes the project so happy!!! 🥰

    Hi all new sub here from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤ love all things mini .
    I will be making some trays I don't have a cricut either but I'm sure I can manage without it .
    I'm not too sure what a cricut actually does lol 😆

      Well Hello and Welcome to Tiny KeyHole Minis .. I am a JoJo to 🤗 A cricut machine is a cutting machine..used to cut vinyl and paper products of different sorts..there are different versions of the cricut machines with different options, here in the states it's a fairly affordable machine that can sit on your desk or table. I will do a small intro next time I use it🥰

      Oh I'm a very sorry, so bad at measurements I mostly eyeball everything. But there are free calculators online that will do it for you and convert inches to centimeters..etc. just put "inches covert to cm" in the search bar and one should pop up. I hope this helps!🥰❤️
