I guess nat's death affected michonne so hard because he was like an andrea 2: a helping hand, a traveling companion, and a friend. They spent so much time together....
I understand why Michonne did not tell Rick about RJ cause he's obviously mentally struggling and adding that news may make him reckless trying to get home to meet his son.
Yeah, when Nikki (from Nikki and Steven reacts) mentioned that she shouldn't mention it right now and she was saying the same thing you are. It makes a lot of sense.
The writing and acting in this show is so great that we loved three characters that weren't even in the whole episode. Can't wait to see what happens next.
@@jordangibbish7701 Dead City felt like a complete rehash of Season 11 with the whole Negan and Maggie frenemy bs. They really backtread with it. Daryl Dixon was good despite a few dumb moments. This though. So far these have been complete bangers. I think most of it is the tighter focus. I was always disappointed whenever the show moved away from the main cast and focused on characters I never gave a shit about, and after Season 7 there were so many pointless characters that the show kept trying to give the spotlight too, and it was so boring. Spin offs that focus on the characters that actually matter, with series short enough to ensure that they keep the pace up unlike so many seasons of the main show, that's what it needed.
5:32 he's so charming... His character stole my heart... I messaged him on Instagram to let him know how epic he is... (Ik he most likely knows how cool he is... But... 💛) I was SOBBING when he got shot Edit: 11:13 sobbing...
Jess, I knew it. I knew you’d be taken with Nat right away which boded insanely poorly for my emotions. When you said, “It’s been just like one scene with him, but I like you, Sir!” I had to pause just to sob from that alone.
Devastating episode! I was also upset about the death of the engaged couple and Nat's death! Nat was very nice, one of the best new characters introduced, too bad he died immediately. Great to finally see Michonne and Rick meet again!!
I've been following you for so many years. Loving this final chapter. Even if it's not the final chapter of the universe, it probably is for me. Rick and Michonne have been all I've cared about for a while in regards to TWD since the time jump. I've loved laughing and crying with you along tthe way.
yea that was heartbreaking, such a good character and would have been a great asset to Alexandria.. btw pretty sure you don't gotta say *Spoilers* LOL anyone here to watch her reaction has most likely already seen the episode 😄
Michonnes Acting in the commonwealth interrogation scene reminds me so much of her best friend who came to alexandria (cannot remember her name) but the way they both talk seemed familiar like she took notes from that
Idk, but I think eventually that "know when to go" *could* make Michonne leave Rick there and just go back to her kids. In episode 1 Rick had agreed to go along with Okafor and his mission right before discovering Michonne, he could still be willing to go along without Okafor and continue the mission.... that being said, having her there could very well restore his faith in getting away, guess we'll see 😁
The put a lot of emphasis on the “Can you tell it’s still him” bit. You can still believe but you’ll know when…. Really makes me think it’s foreshadowing Rick being 10x more broken than he was after the lineup. I have a feeling Michonne is going to have to fight with Rick (likely not physically) to get him back to leader Rick. I don’t see how they can just leave the CRM at this point. They would just come boom Alexandria and faking his own is too risky, especially with Jadis still alive. I think Rick is somehow going to take out the general and get the entire army behind him and exposing the CRM to the world. I don’t think it’s be feasible for them to physically destroy all of the CRM nor would they because of the civilian death toll that have very little knowledge of what the CRM actually does. I think this makes the most sense of there is ever a reaction of major characters in another show. Alexandria is no longer a set, so a new place is required. Just my theory, can’t wait to see how they fit this in 4 more episodes haha.
6:42 I'm surprised you didn't make a comment about parting the Dead Sea... I rather enjoyed when Jadis/Anne mentioned how Rick has heard a lot of language from her. Although I wanted her to use the example of "up, up, up" rather than "yes, yes, yes" Funny, in a way, that the "Dud" that Nat hit the helicopter with, liquidated Okafur, who might have otherwise been helpful to still have around.
I was so mad myself and disappointed when they killed poor gnat I wanted to see him go on I was hoping you'd go through the series every time you like a character they kill him on us it sucks
This is not the time to discuss RJ…..as much as we want him to know what he has missed. They are just wrapping their own reunion around their head….it will come
So I was just WAITING for your reaction to Nat’s death to see if it affected you more than Isabelle’s. It did. Granted his death was more sudden. We have time to worry about Issa and think that maybe she would live. But it seems like building it up that she might live would make someone scream at the TV just as hard. I had the same reaction. I cared so much more about Nat after ONE episode than I did about Isabelle after a season and a half. Don’t get me wrong I was pretty sad and angry that she died. But I was WAY more of both when Nat died.
Nat was wayy too op to keep around. Bro took down a copter single handedly with no prep time whatsoever lol but on a serious note this episode was a lot better imo and im starting to hope again 😂
@@JohnDAmico-ci2hz maybe, but it has been many years since we got an episode of the TWD that matches up to these two episodes. These two episodes pretty much confirm what many of us already knew and that is the TWD with Rick is much better than TWD without him.

Is there somewhere to watch this whole ass walking dead verse, they just stopped being shown in the UK. I think I got up to the Covid series and then before I knew it there was like 90 spin offs and I had no idea where to pick back up or what the hell was going on or what order everything came in
The high seas. There's no legal way to watch it in the UK unfortunately. Watch order is The Walking Dead (obviously), Dead City (Negan and Maggie), Daryl Dixon, The One's Who Live (Rick and Michonne). Those spin offs are all only six episodes long so don't panic You do also have Fear The Walking Dead, and Walking Dead: World Beyond, both of which came out while the original show was still going. And Tales of the Walking Dead which is an anthology thing. I have no interest in seeing any of those ones, but I've been able to understand the other spin offs just fine. Although, I do believe World Beyond gives more insight into the CRM the people who are holding Rick. I believe Jadis also makes an appearance.

100% agreed. It would throw him off his game and he would get desperate, to the point of making fatal mistakes. Wise decision by Michonne.
